1: 2011 This year's highlights include Marie turning 30 on January 2, we bought a new house in February, we bought a new Mazda5 minivan, Drew was born on July 29 and Dean turned 2 on May 13.

21: March Happenings: Dean copies everything we say, but also says his own stuff like "thank you mama" and "bless you mama." We found out we are having a boy baby this month, and I felt the baby kick. I also joined the music team at John Wesley Methodist Church.

31: Hanging with Dad | April Happenings: Dean counted to 10 at school, feeling baby boy kick sporadically a lot, Dean says "o-o-tin it" for open is and "I want some mama!" or "I want the daddy!" Dean only wants his daddy to take him nigh-night this month, and likes to put his foot in daddy's pocket while he falls asleep.

41: Make a Wish! | We took you to Chuck E. Cheese's and had a party Friday night and Sunday for your birthday.
42: Fulton, Texas | June 3rd-5th We spent the weekend in Fulton at the Inn at Fulton Harbor for the Git-Ur-Grill-On BBQ cook-off.
44: The"Son's of Brisket, our team, got 4th place overall: we won 2nd place brisket, 10th place chicken and 5th place ribs.
45: We ate ice cream at an ice cream parlor, went shopping, visited the aquarium, ate at a cute little cafe and even went to the HEB store.
47: Kate Garcia, Mom, Aunt Dana and I drove to San Antonio to do a "food crawl" on the Riverwalk. We had appetizer's and drinks at Zuni Grill, pizza at Paesano's and desserts at Boudros and Ben and Jerry's

49: Drew's Diaper Drive was hosted by Kate Garcia, Emily Harrison and Jennifer Sourdellia at the Golden Gecko. Friends, family and co-workers attended and brought diapers of all sizes to cover Drew's tiny heiny!

51: We had a triple shower for all the pregnant girls at the church.
52: Dean loves to dump toys on the floor, put things on his head, and generally be into everything. He is a curious and independent big boy!
53: Stan's 2nd Father's Day! | Baby Drew is 6 weeks in the making. We haven't come up with his full name yet. He doesn't like tight pants and kicks me unless I wear a dress. I am nesting, and finally getting our new home in order.

70: Drew's first few days at home were relaxing and wonderful. We had a few visitors, and laid around on the couch most of the time.
72: The nursery - it is upstairs so we rarely use it. | Life is all about the boys, the house, friends, family, mini vacations, bbq cookoffs, cooking and church. Dean is very sweet with Drew; he brings him his pacifier, kisses and hugs him and says "awww baby brudder." Drew is a quiet baby.

98: Dean won a sword and gun at the Turkeyfest carnival. Laura stopped by our pit to see Drew for the first time. We had a spot right on the water and chased the ducks. What a fun day!

114: A dog is a bundle of love wrapped in fur." | We brought a stray puppy home on December 8th. We asked Dean what to name him and he said "Uh, the letterB.". So we named him Letterby.
115: Texas Master Naturalist Certification | Marie joined the Midcoast Chapter Master Naturalists | Notes from November 8, 2011 We don't go out much - we stay home and cook supper, watch TV and piddle around the house. Daddy and Mommy both just got a raise at work. Drew laughs and smiles now - he has started a lovely happy squeal. He wakes up about 5:30am, spits up a lot, and had his first cereal on November 7th. He loves mommy best right now. He stays home during the day with his nanny Madisen Wallace, Aunt Sarah, or MoMo. Dean attends First Presbyterian Day School. He is beginning to pee on the potty for stamps or money. He always wants candy out of his Halloween pumpkin, won't eat noodles, and is a very sweet well behaved boy. He loves to watch Backyardigans "Robot Rampage", Tangled, Peter Pan, Dragon Tales and Yo Gabba Gabba.

119: Drew just started eating baby food. He is a happy baby who loves attention. Dean takes care of Drew, but is jealous too. Dean says "I am Star Wars" when he wears his Star Wars jammies. Drew rolled over on Sunday, December 11th.
