BC: What can I say about this picture? I love poppies and this was a work of great passion, it took me six months to stitch. And I sent it to Pakistan to get it framed, and the frame got broken. | A close up.

FC: Almas Provides the Cowbell

This one came from Pakistan, it took two months to stitch. | I made this picture buy stitching beads into place. It took me three afternoon's to complete. | Everytime I see this one I have to laugh, if you look closely at the left side of the little girls foot you see something is missing. It was a dog, I took it out because I didn't want it in the picture. But at the time I wasn't experienced enough to put anything else there. | Now this picture was a kit that a friend brought back from Pakistan when my kids were very small. I think it was one of the first I stitched.

Same piture. | This kit was sent to me by a friend who lived in New Orleans. She bought it from Kashmir. When I was little I wanted to live in a house like this.

I love this picture. I got this kit from Pakistan, the frame got broken in transit. | This kit was such fun to stitch. I took four weeks to stitch it. | I stitched this picture at a very difficult time in my life, it took me six months to make.

 A close up.

This kit was bought from the craft show in Olympia, for all those of you who read Arabic, this alphabet is not incorrect, I bought it from a Jewish girl and this is their script for the Arabic alphabet. I loved stitching this and made lots of mistakes on the yellow work, but I got there in the end, it took over two years on and off to stitch. | What can I say about this picture? I love poppies and this was a work of great passion, it took me six months to stitch. And I sent it to Pakistan to get it framed, and the frame got broken. | I love this picture, it took a year to stitch, but everytime I left it in the living room at night and went to bed, it would be covered up with a pillow case in the morning. My son Adnan said he didn't like the way the eyes followed him around the room, so when he wanted to watch TV she had to wear a pillow over her head.

This is my current piece of work. Its a Maia kit and is of two sunflowers. | This is the same pic up close.

This chunky boy is Ismael when he was a year old. Taken on his first birthday. | A close up of the same pic. I stitch this one at the weekends.

This boy is Adnan taken the day he was born, he had so much hair.
