FC: Anne Boleyn

By: Zach Conner I would like to dedicate this children's book to McKenzie Huggins and Anne Boleyn herself

Many, many years ago in a land far, far away there was a woman named Anne Boleyn who led a very extraordinary life. Anne was born in

England in 1501. When she was very young she moved to France where she spent her childhood. While living in France the young, beautiful Anne received a very good education. So Anne

definitely had an above average childhood. She returned to England in 1522 to begin her early adult life. Once in England the king, Henry VIII noticed her at a party in 1527 and

said to himself " I have to meet that girl. " So as every wish a king has he met her and wanted to marry her. There was one slight problem, the king was already married so he would have to get a

divorce or a separation. He would first have to go to the catholic church to get it approved... here is where the major problem occurred. The church did not approve the divorce so

he grew inpatient and decided to take matters into his own hands. Henry was known for his greed and problem with not settling down with just woman so people were not surprised and

because Anne grew up in France she had a great taste in style and was known for her flirtatious acts so the title of queen fit her perfectly. So to sum the problem up and Henry's solution he

was basically going to create his own church and church branch so he could freely be with any women he wanted to at anytime. Henry went on to create the Anglican church. Now, he was

able to marry Anne. At the beginning of their marriage Anne promised Henry a boy to take over as king when he was no longer able to rule and their marriage was going very well and smooth.

Then, the problems began with their marriage. Anne's first born was a girl, who went on to be queen Elizabeth I. She then went on to have two miscarriages and on the fourth attempt

she finally had a boy. By this time in the marriage Anne and Henry had grown tired of each other and now that they had a boy Henry had no more pressure so he had no more use for Anne and

had planned to divorce her. Henry had already laid eyes on his next wife, Jane Seymour, who was one of the bridesmaids in his and Anne's wedding. Henry knew this would not be enough to get rid of

Anne so he had to find a way to put her to death. Henry sent Anne to the tower of London to be tried on adultery and witchcraft. He tortured men to make them say that they

had an affair with Anne. So once Anne was in court there was enough made up "evidence" to have her beheaded. Henry brought in one of the best executers of the time and had her put

to death the next day. Anne's daughter,Elizabeth eventually became queen and that is the story of Anne Boleyn.
