1: Basic Information | Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany | She was famous for being a victim of the Nazis during World War 2. She was also in hiding for two years until the people hiding in the secret annex were discovered and brought to a nazi internment camp. After the war, her diary was given to her father and he published it. | Anne died of Typhus in a Nazi internment camp three days after Margot also died of Typhus. Anne was fifteen.
2: Childhood/Family | Anne's parents were Edith and Otto Frank. They were married in Aachen Germany in 1925. | Anne's sisterMargot was three years older than Anne. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1926. | Anne lived in Frankfurt, Germany for the first five years of her life. The Franks moved to Amsterdam in 1933. In Amsterdam, Otto Frank became the managing director of the Dutch Opekata Company which manufactored products used in making jam.
3: Childhood/Family | When Anne's family was moving to Amsterdam, Anne's mother and father went on ahead to Amsterdam. Meanwhile, Anne and Margot stayed with their grandparents until 1934. | Anne started right away at the montessouri school. She stayed there until she was six. Then she started in the first form. | In Germany, the Franks' family was suffering under Hitler's Anti- Jewish laws. Anne's 73 year old grandmother came to live with them. | Anne's family went into hiding when Anne was thirteen years old. They went to the secret Annex of Opekta Works.
4: Courageous | I think Anne was courageous because of all she went through.. It seems like she handled it well, considering. all she and the others in the annex were going through. | I also think Anne was courageous because she wasn't scared to say what she wanted. Judging from her diary she did that quite often, in and outside of the diary.
5: Insightful | I think Anne was Insightful because the things she wrote in her diary there were so many things she wrote in her diary. | For being so young, she was so insightful, she had so much knowledge about life and herself. Even her questions were insightful.
6: Other Facts | Also in the Annex were the Van Pels, or the Van Dans as they are in Anne's diary. There was also Albert Dussel or Fritz Pfeffer, which was his real name. | Anne adressed her diary dearest Kitty. She also "signed off" with yours, Anne or yours, Anne M. Frank.
7: Other Facts | The people in hiding had non- jewish office helpers who would bring food and other supplies to those in hiding. Their visits were special and much anticipated treats to those in hiding. | The door to the annex was hidden behind a bookshelf.
8: Time Line | June 12, 1929-Anne is born in Frankfurt Germany 1933- Anne and her family leave Germany for Amsterdam !938- Anne's Mother's brothers flee Germany during the pograms June 12, 1942- Anne recieves her diary on her 13th birthday August 1, 1944-Anne's last diary entry August 4, 1944- The hiders are found and arrested March 1945- Anne dies of Typhus.

10: Dear Journal | Dearest Kitty, We are now in a concentration camp in Germany. I will continue to write to you even though my diary was left in the annex. I will write you on anything I can find. Here we have to do very hard labor during the day and sleep in barracks at night. We are fed very little and very hungry. We are also seperated from father, Mr. Van Dan, and Peter. 11: Dear Anne | Dear Anne, I picked you for my bibliography project because you were so interesting. Also, what happened to you was so sad.
