 ...or do they?
Two friends reunite and each tries to convince the other that...
You're The Top! | At words poetic I'm so pathetic, | You're the Nile, you're the Tower of Pisa. | Your words poetic are not pathetic on the other hand boy you shine. | You're the pearl, that the divers fetch up. Milton Berle, and tomato ketchup. | But if baby I'm the bottom, you're the top! | You're the top. You're a new invention.
 Bon Voyage!
Two lovers also reunite. But there's one problem. The English Fiance!
Meanwhile the real "crook" is hiding out in Billy's cabin.
Heaven Hop! (Dance Break:) | While Bonnie with the help of a few angels, dances the clothes off a sailor.
We get to know Sir Eveline. | And a relationship begins.
While Billy continues to try to win over Hope and her mother.
We're together Billy, through thick and thin! Night and day! Write or wrong! | Three friends devise a plan to help Billy win back Hope.
If your ever up a tree, phone to me. If your ever down a well, ring my bell. That's friendship, friendship. Just a perfect blendship. When other friendships have been forgot. Ours will still be hot!
When other friendships have been forget. Ours will still be it.
A ladle ladle ladle dig dig dig. | A ladle ladle ladle chug chug chug.

 And a "chinchilla".
Moonface gets distracted and Billy gets caught.!
Reno tries to console her friend. Her thoughts then lead her to think that...
 Anything Goes!! (Dance Break!)
In olden days a glimpse of stocking was looked on as something shocking but now God knows. Anything goes! | When mothers pack and leave poor father because they decide they'd rather be tennis pros. Anything Goes!! | When grand mama who's age is eighty, in nightclubs is getting matey with gigolos. Anything Goes!! | Good authors too who once new better words now only use four letter words writing prose. Anything Goes!!
The passengers decide to "worship" public enemy number one.
And Bonnie encourages them to "Step Out"! (DANCE BREAK!!)
Meanwhile Reno Sweeney and Sir Eveline get better acquainted. It's getting late and while I wait my poor heart aches on, why keep the brakes on? Let's misbehave! There's something wild about you child that's so contagious, let's be outrageous--let's misbehave!
You know my heart is true and you say you for me care. Someone is sure to tell, but what the hell do we care. They say that spring means just one thing, two little love birds. We're not above birds. Let's misbehave. | When Adam won Eve's hand. He wouldn't stand for teasin. He didn't care about those apples out of season. They say that bears have love affairs and even camels. We're merely mammals. Let's misbehave!
The captain seeks the help of Reno and "preacher" Moonface in conducting a service.
A service to save Billy's soul.
And now I'm all ready to fly, yes to fly higher and higher... So climb up the mountaintop and start to blow Gabriel blow!
I want to join your happy band, and play all day in the promised land. So blow, Gabriel blow!! | Come on you scamps, get up you sinners! You're all too full of expensive dinners. Stand up on your lazy feet and sing!!
The service is so good that they both confess! One confesses he isn't really a crook, and one that he really is!
They both wind up in the jail, down below. | Hope comes to see Billy. | But tells him she will marry Eveline. | With help from Bonnie up above, and some wheeling and dealing, they come up with a plan. Calling all pants, calling all pants!!
Reno and her angels reminisce about New York, and prepare to go home. The more I travel, across the gravel. The more I sail the sea. The more I feel convinced of the fact, New York's the town for me. It's crazy skyline is right in my line. And when I'm far away, I'm able to bear it for several hours, then I break down and say. Take me back to Manhatten. Take me back to New York. I'm just longing to see once more, my little home on the hundreth floor. Can you wonder I'm gloomy. Can you smile when I frown. I miss the east side, the west side, the north side and the south side. So take me back to Manhatten. That dear old dirty town.
 The wedding begins as planned.
Until the three friends, | put their plan into place.
Because of the power of friendship, and the existence of Plum Blossom,
They all live happily ever after.
