2: Early Life: William Shakespeare was born in the villages of Stratford-upon-Avon and was baptized on April 26, 1564. The exact date of Shakespeare's birth is unknown. Shakespeare's parents were John Shakespeare and Mary Arden. Shakespeare had 8 siblings named Joan, Margaret, Gilbert,Joan, Anne, Richard and Edmund. Joan as born in 1558 and died shortly after. Margaret was born in 1562 and died one year later. Gilbert was born in 1566 and died on February 3,1612. Joan( which was named after her first sister) was born in 1569 and died in 1646. Anne was born in 1571 and died in 1579. Richard was born in 1574 and died in 1613. Edmund was born in 1580 and died in 1607.

4: Marriage and Family: Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway on November 28,1583. Anne was seven years older than Shakespeare when they got married. About 6 months after Shakespeare and Anne got married they had their first child named Susanna. In January of 1585 they had twins named Hamnet and Judith. Susanna married John Hall on June 5, 1607. in 1649 Susanna died and in 1635 her husband John Hall died. Hamlet in 1596 at the age of 12, died due to unknown cause. Judith married Thomas Quiney in February of 1616. Thomas died in 1652 and Judith died in 1662

Shakespeare started to write Romeo and Juliet in 1594. The types of plays that he wrote are tragedy, comedy,romance, and history. Romeo and Juliet was a tragedy play. Shakespeare wrote 36 plays.
