1: Cell Theory | Due to the overall research of all living things, many studies have been researched about the structure of all living organisms. The most widely accepted of these theories, with the most proof to back it up, would be the cell theory. The cell theory states that all living organisms are comprised of a thing called cells that have the ability to reproduce by splitting in half and then regenerating from there. Cells are tiny organisms that are comprised of different materials that each have different functions that perform jobs to sustain the cells. Their are three principles of cell theory 1) All organisms consist of one or more cells. 2) All living organisms have at least one cell. 3) All cells are made by preexisting cells. | Plant cell | Animal cell
2: Animal cells | Animal cells are cells that make up all animals. Animal cells are comprised of lysosomes, a golgi apparatus, a cell membrane, ribosomes,rough ER, smooth ER, cytoplasm, a nucleus and Nucleosis. Animal cells make up all living beings that need food, water, and air to survive and grow. Animals make up every part of animal and are not visible regularly to the human eye.
3: Plant cells | Plant cells are the structure of all plants. While very similar to animal cells the plant cell i designed to have a cell wall and contain chloroplast and a central vacuole. the plant cell contains a structure called chloroplast which allows the plant to get it's green coloring and produce photosynthesis. A plant cell, differing form a animal cell, does not also contain cytoplasm and a golgi apparatus.
4: Robert Hooke (1635-1703) | From observing cork Hooke was able to make a very important discovery. Using a microscope Hooke was able to observe honey comb like formation in the cork, Here by discovering he cell wall and plant cells.
5: Theodor Schwann (1810-1882) | In 1836 after extensive research Schwann stated plants are made of cells. He later, three years to be precise, went on to be one of the First people know to have stated all living things are made of cells, including plants and Animals
6: Matthias Schleiden (1804-1881) | In 1838 Schleiden became one of the co-founders of the modern day cell theory and informed many that plants are made of cells, one year before Schwann did.
7: Rudolph Virchow(1821-1902) | Virchow was the founder of two very important discoveries. He had stated all cells come form preexisting cells and he discovered the leukemia cell.
8: Cell Wall- supports and allows protection from harm to cell. Cell membrane- Inner version of cell wall found in all cells allows for support, movement, maintains control of what enters and exits the cell and maintains homeostasis. Cytoplasm- supports and protects cell organelles Nucleus- controls activity of cell, contains heredity traits. Ribosomes- synthesize proteins Vacuole- store food and water, metabolic and toxic waste form cell. Lysosomes- Break down food and digest old parts of cells Chloroplast- allows plnts to produce photo synthesis Cilia- move and transport items cytoskeleton- strengthen cell ans maintain cells shape | Cell structures
9: Homeostasis is basicly the balance maintained by the cell so nothing goes wrong
