12: Dear Journal, Today my sisters and I were sent to an orphanage. My brothers were sent to work on a farm, and I will most likely never see them again. We were torn apart because mother died, and father didn't want to have to care for us. I can already tell that I don't belong here, and am different than the other girls here. They have NO hope whatsoever, and don't think they will ever get out. I know someday I will make myself known, just like my mother always said. I just hope...
13: Dear Gabrielle, You are a very inspiring women, and many people (mostly women and girls) look up to you. You are a hero in my eyes because you led us women to be able to be free of just dresses that were uncomfortable and unfashionable! If you hadn't created different clothing for us, I don't think that we would be able to wear jeans and shorts and other clothing similar to those today. You are a very inspiring women with all that you have been though and how you made yourself something better than how you were treated. I enjoyed learning about you . Hannah
