FC: Dill's Summer
Summer is the time of year when I can go back to Maycomb County. I'm not the most honest guy, but I'm one of the kindest! I love playing games and being adventurous.
I'm a very energetic kid. I love running around, wild with my imagination.
Scout is my best friend, but she lives in Maycomb County, so I only see her in the summer. One day I'm going to marry her. | Scout
Jem is my second best friend. He's Scout's older brother, and he's the greatest man I know | Jem
This summer Jem taught me how to swim.
One of the summers while I was down in Maycomb County, Scout's dad, Atticus, was the defending lawyer to a black man who was accused of rape. | The Robinson Trial | They treated him so badly that I cried, and I'm a tough man who never cries!
This is a photo of my father. It's the only thing that I truly remember about him. I haven't seen him in a long while, but I know that he must be doing wondrous things.
This is the ring I'm planning on giving Scout one day. We are going to get married and live a happy life. In the wedding we're going to eat cake and smash it in each other's faces. I can't wait until I'm grown!
I think I'll be a clown when I get grown. There ain't one thing in this world I can do about folks except laugh, so I'm gonna join the circus and laugh me head off. I'm gonna be a new kind of clown. I'm gonna stand in the middle of the ring and laugh at the folks.
