They are working hard maybe to feed the family Oven has been overused a lot Now the chicken is waiting for its turn Get into the dish and run to the oven To come out deliciously Oven is a great thing to have right

No wonder how Aunt Isabella ran into the kitchen As soon as the chicken went into the oven She might have caught the warm delicious smell Now she was hovering around the oven Impatiently, looking at the timer Every where there was lettuce Why? Chicken and lettuce No that is not possible. Oh, It is not lettuce, those are the green hair of my sister Lissy She is always at the kitchen

Chicken and lettuce No that is not possible. Oh, It is not lettuce, those are the green hair of my sister lissy She is always at the kitchen

Now why is a dead cockroach on top of the kitchen counter? Hope someone sees it, It’s almost time for the meal Not seeing any decorations Aunt Isabella is running to the closet Yea. She got the decorations Everything is pink? What? They should consider the male side of the family Hope uncle john spots that; Nah I don’t think so. How can a man who drools over The magazine spot pink decorations?

Was that a fire alarm or a tornado alarm? No, it was the mighty oven with the Raw meat ready to go as cooked meat Yes, the alarm of relief for Aunt Isabella And now the ladies move towards the dining area It was none other than Lissy who spot the Tiny little cockroach on the table. Euh! she yelled, alas! mom dropped The bowl of green veggie salads on to the floor at the same time Bang! The glass bowl fell on the floor

What life is? A Mother to Son “Life ain’t gonna come as you wish it would Told my mom when I sat on the couch without any hopes Life is not gonna come to ye. Ye run to it before the tickin clock stops Life is about fun, but not too much son , not too much Life is not what you think it is Life is ain’t no joke Life ain’t not gonna be about you It’s about all who depends on ye Neither me nor ye finds the slack of ye life To put it loop, god is the one who decides son, god is the one who decides

Life is not what you think it is Life is ain’t no joke Life ain’t not gonna be slow It’s gonna be upbeat, Everything happened is for yer good Life is gonna move fast son, move fast Life is not what you think it is Life is ain’t no joke Life is fun to spend, but hard to live You need to steer it It is hard to keep it on the track It is neva hard to miss the way son, miss the way Life is not what you think it is Life is ain’t no joke

This is the only one you have There is no choice to get it back Take advantage of this one Like the only chance you have son, only chance ye have Life is not what you think it is Life is ain’t no joke”

An Ode to GSMST The place where we learn The place that make me stern it is my school where the candles burn It is my world, in which I turn GSMST is odd but it's made of gold I love my school I will hold up it flag on the bright golden rod Whenever I am alone my school is my pool.

My school is made of math Science is my school's path The students take this path And there we wear smart clothe It is a silver star with a bright light scar Everyday is a lesson So there's nothing bizarre I am always in the session no matter what occasion

I know my school it is so cool of course we rule the corridors of our school! It is the palace of education where we have donations I don't like it when it snows then i stay away from education That blocks me from the station of education which always happens in this nation.

Whenever I fall i have a call it is my school that catch me when I fall! Our teachers are awesome they are like flowers that blossom they bloom in the classroom they fade away our glooms they are so awesome So there is nothing to gloom.

My life is fulfilled on those doorsteps i feel like i am on the step of the world of knowledge steps i like it when that happens; i am ready to prep there is no school like mine we dine in this star sign I prepare myself and you prepare your to take each step to climb up the stairs of education my self

Language Arts and Me Just an ordinary day at school Until 5th period it’s not at all cool The moment I walk into the language arts room I feel the relief from the doom Nouns greet me, like they know me But how do they know them I don’t know Verbs spread the carpet to my seat On which I walk with my feet

There is something different everyday Like new flowers staying awake all day Whenever I look at the flowers in the room The adverbs peeking out from the flowers in the room Right down to the right of the aisle There she is our language arts fairy Who opens the door to the land of knowledge And helps us find the way to college

Alexa is her nickname She is the umpire of the game Whenever we need help, she is there to help us She is the great teacher you could have You don’t even know how quickly time pass It is almost like you just got into class Then the bell chims again And now its time to go to the lunch domain

But everything ends as we make one step through the door to the right Now it is like the time of night Without a noise, without a voice Sitting there still without a shrill Can’t believe all the fun ended at the door step Now I just feel like I am in the land without flowers to clump What would I do no I will wait until tomorrow, you know

To come back to the class Where flowers bloom with adverbs in brass And nouns come up in the rainbow And forms the little Carlo I see every day

My 1st Choice Poem Caged Bird; Maya Angelou The free bird leaps on the back of the win and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wings in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing

The caged bird sings with fearful trill of the things unknown but longed for still and is tune is heard on the distant hillfor the caged bird sings of freedom The free bird thinks of another breeze an the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn and he names the sky his own.

But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.

Analysis This poem is my 1st choice because it talks about the feelings of a caged bird comparing it with a free bird. the poem expresses a variety of feelings and pleads for freedom. Poet depicts the free bid as women under constraints.

My 2nd Choice Song Israel Kamakiwowole Somewhere over the rainbow Way up high, There's a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby. Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream Really do come true. Someday I'll wish upon a star And wake up where the clouds are far Behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow Bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow. Why then, oh why can't I? If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow Why, oh why can't I?

Analysis This song is about the dreams of a person who wishes to go see the land above the rainbow this song makes me go back to my home country and think about my friends. A lot of imagery is used in the poem as well
