2: This is Arlington cemetery. These gravestones are so perfectly lined up. They used to have the gravestones be payed for by the families. Then people had huge gravestones and small one. It looks very disorganized | This is the eternal flame over John F, Kennedy's grave. The flame symbolizes hope. The flame is always going on no matter what. This is also the grave site of his infant son, daughter and wife. His brothers are buried around him in Arlington Cemetery.
3: The Tomb of the unknown solider. This is the place where they keep the unknown soldier. The tomb is being guarded by a honor guard of a commander and soldier. The soldiers are not wearing their rank because we don't know the rank of the unknown soldiers

10: The is the Statue that Connecticut has in the Capital Building. This is special to me as a American because I am a citizen of Connecticut and that is the statue my state put forward. I think it is the third nicest after Colorado and Hawaii.
11: This is the fifth Chief of justice Roger B. Taney. He is on of the first chief of Justices in America. This is special to me as an American because he without him we wouldn't have a few things we have today because of what he did as a chief of Justice. Such as announce and vote on the Dred Scott case. | A few statues in the capital. The Place where the Supreme Court used to meet.

15: This is the White House. This is the house that Barack Obama lives in and many Presidents before him. This house has been the house for many Presidents starting from John Adams. It was later finished when Thomas Jefferson was President. There is a nuclear deactivation protester who has been staying outside the White House for twenty years. This is very special to me as an American because this is where my President lives and does his job.

17: This is the Lincoln Memorial. It is a statue of Lincoln inside of a giant house. On his is the Gettysburg Address. On his right is his second inaugural address. On the right there is a spelling mistake made by the carver. The person spelled Future with and "E" so they later filled it in. This is special to me as an American because this memorial is respecting a great President.
18: This is the writing on the Ewi Jima Memorial . It is a Picture of the Marines hosting the American flag in Japan cast in iron. This picture that this was based off of was faked. By the time the journalist got to the top they had finessed and then the journalist asked them to reenact it. This means a great battle won personally as an American
