If you take an owl to the Okefenokee Swamp, he will want to knowhow big it is. When you tell him it is about half a million acres, he will want to know if it is the biggest in the world. When you inform him that it is not the biggest in the world, but it is the biggest in North America, he will ask how many plants live there. After you say that there are thousands of species of plants there, but hundreds are endangered, he will want to know if he can go swimming in the swamp to get a closer look. Because many dangerous animals live in the water, you tell him he can save that for the pool.
If you take a tortiose to Tallulah Gorge, he will ask how deep it is. Once you inform him that it is 1200 feet deep, he will want to know if it is the deepest. After telling him that it is the second deepest behind the Grand Canyon, he will then like to know how it was formed. After you told him it was formed by a series of waterfalls and a river, he ran off to play in the water.
If you take a porcupine to Providence Canyon, he will want to know how many canyons are in the whole thing. When you tell him there are 16, he will ask how deep it is. When you inform the porcupine that it is 150 feet deep, he will wonder how it got there. When you say it was started by settlers digging a five foot hole to cultivate, he will ask if he can dig a hole in his back yard to make a canyon. Wish him luck.
If you take a snake to Stone Mountain, he will ask how large it is. When you tell him that it is 25 million square feet, and that it covers half of Georgia and part of North Carolina underground; he will then ask how old it is. After saying it is three million years old, he will wonder what it is mafe of. When yourespond that it is made of granite, he`will ask what the carving on the side of the mountain is. When you inform him that the carving is a confederate memorial and that it is the largest raised sculpture in the world, he will ask to hike to the top. You decide it would be best to ride the sky buckets.
If you take an aardvark to Amicalola Falls, he will wonder what the odd name means. When you say it means tumbling waters, he will ask how tall the waterfall is. When you inform him that it is 729 feet tall, he will want to know if it is the tallest in the United States. When you tell hm that it is notthe tallest in the U.S. but it is the tallest east of the Mississippi River, he will ask if you can go to the tallest waterfall in the U.S. next time.
If you take a rhinoceros to Radium Springs, he will want to know why it is famous. When you tell him that today it is mostly dried up, compared to what it used to be, and that there were small, underground caves called blue holes; he will wonder how cold the water was. After telling him that it was 68 degrees year-round, he decided he would rather go to warm springs.
If you take a wombat to Warm Springs he will want to knowhow hot it is. When you say it is 88 degrees, he will ask why it is famous. After telling him that the NativeAmericans believed it to have healing powers, he will wonder why there is a small, white house. After telling him that President Roosevelt built that because he came down often to heal his polio, the wombat decided he would come down to Warm Springs next time he got hurt.
