Hi my name's Jeremy Finch but my friends call me Jem! | When I'm older I'm going to be a lawyer just like my dad, Atticus, but for now I just like to play with my sister. Also I'm going to play football when I'm older!
This is my sister,Scout. She's 8 years old. She's very fun and likes to play with me. She's a very good reader. Sometimes she can be a bit rude.
When my daddy, Atticus, was at court defending Tom Robinson, Scout and I went to go watch him. We sat up in a balcony with the negroes. Atticus definitely should have won! But because he was defending a negro there was no way he could have won. That day I learned a lot about the people of Maycomb. | Atticus goes to court
This pocket watch Atticus gave me is very special to me because Atticus said it was tradition for the father to pass down his watch to his son.
"The day was twenty-four hours long, but it seemed longer. There was no hurry, for there was nowhere to go and nothing to buy,. and no money to buy it with, nothing to see outside the boundaries of Maycomb county. But it was a time of vague optimism for some people: Maycomb County had recently been told that it had nothing to fear but fear itself."(Lee 6)
