1: My name is John Knox one of the greatest reformers of all time. I have worked as a slave, a bodyguard and I even married a 17 year old young girl when I was 50. Who gave me three beautiful daughters. Well that is the over view now let's go into detail.
2: I was born 1513 in Haddington Scotland. This is also where I grew up. As soon as I was born I was destined for priesthood. I enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1522. I was learning from John Major. He was in my opinion the
3: greatest scholar of all time. I was so ecstatic when I was ordained in 1532! I was able to teach political law and church law. I publicly announced in 1545 that I became a protestant.
4: `My first job was being a bodyguard for George Wishart. I worked for him until he was arrested for returning to his country after banishment. After my dear friend Mr. Wishart was arrested I ran and kept running until I decided to join a band. A band of brothers, the band
5: that killed Cardinal Beaton. The year of 1555 is one I will never forget. That is the year I married Margaret Stewart. She was the daughter of Andrew, Lord Stewart of Ochiltree. Although I had a good life I had one really bad experience. It was when
6: I was residing in the Castle of St. Andrews. I was captured by the French and was forced to become a French-Galley slave. I worked as a slave for 19 long months. When I returned to Scotland it felt like almost immediately I was made minister of the
7: Church of St. Giles. But I didn't go straight back to Scotland I roamed Europe from place to place teaching.
8: I lived in Geneva for almost a year where I answered a calling to the English Church at Frankfurt. 1555 is when I set out to return to Scotland where for nine months I traveled preaching Christian gospel doctrines.
9: I even wrote a famous book on the history of the reformation in which it took me years to finish.I even made a to do list in which I fulfilled all the tasks.
10: The To Do List: 1. Met a religious founder. 2.Become a founder of something. 3. Work in a big church. 4. Learn from the best farmer I know(my dad) 5. Learn a lot about my mom who die when I was at a very young age.
11: I met Calvin who was the founder of Calvinism, and by many I am considered the founder of the Presbyterian denomination. My favorite part of my life was working in the Church of England. I learned how to farm, especially corn, and I found out I get my
