BC: THE END :D *snaps*

FC: By: Rosa Swaby | Language Arts Poetry

My Tribute to GSMST Thank you GSMST for giving me back aches From all the stairs I have to climb Thank you GSMST for the little amount of sleep That causes bags under my eyes Thank you for the excessive amount of homework that you give That I never have time to do Thank you for all the projects and essays Those always make me blue

My Favorite class :) | Language Arts Where we read books, and poems, and stories And learn vocabulary and write essays Learn about different authors and Who they were And how they lived But language arts isn;t for everyone Some may find it boring and monotonous And simply too much work

You know that when you see people Dozing off and class Going snore snore snore However, language arts is my favorite class | It’s not a class where you have to solve problems Or memorize people and dates Or learn new formulas and concepts But where we can express our creativity in words | And tell random stories And share experiences It’s more than class It’s a subject

SELF RESPECT Sometimes I sing sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I dance, sometimes I won’t. Depend on what the song is, I might even do the cha cha. It really just depends on my mood. I’m not (the average) teenage girl. And I ain’t the calm down to earth girl.

But I learned being happy and being who you really are is more important. Because I am excited and happy and crazy!. I’m not “cool” girl that you see striding down the hall in school. | My worth is not determined by what people think of me but of what I think of myself. No matter what people say or think of me, I will always be the happy, fun Rosa.

Do not get me wrong I cannot wait for you to come home For now you're not here and I'm not there, it's like we're on our own To figure it out, consider how to find a place to stand Instead of walking away and instead of nowhere to land | She is~ The Fray | This is going to break me clean in two This is going to bring me close to you She is everything I need that I never knew I wanted She is everything I want that I never knew I needed

This is going to bring me clarity This'll take the heart right out of me She is everything I need that I never knew I wanted She is everything I want that I never knew I needed | It's all up in the air and we stand still to see what comes down I don't know where it is, I don't know when, but I want you around When it falls in place with you and I, we go from if to when Your side and mine are both behind it's indication

 Mother's Kitchen

The smell of spices surrounds me And I know that she is in there cooking | The smell of spices surrounds me And I know that she is in there cooking As I glide in the kitchen I see an assortment of colors From the green parsley To the red bell peppers To the orange carrots And the white onions She takes out a seasoned meatloaf From the fridge full of food surprises And gently places it in a pan And sticks it in the oven I hope the time flies by fast So I can dig in | Then all of a sudden I hear a buzzing First I think it’s a pot But then she and I both whip our heads To see what it is Then we notice it A WASP It flown in from the widow I start to scream I am deadly afraid of wasps Then she quickly grabs a show And SPLAT! The wasp is dead And the momentary heart attack is over
