FC: Literacy at Wilclay
1: At Wilclay we learn about literacy in many different and creative ways. We don't just use it in language but in other subjects too.
2: Reading | During class, students are given time to read their favourite books.
3: We don't just read books, we read newspaper articles, magazines, ebooks, textbooks and others resources.
4: "It is very important to obtain the necessary skills during our school years, because the expertise in literacy is very crucial when you utilize these certain techniques and habits in the future" - Edward
6: Writing | "Tool of communication to share your thoughts, express your feelings, ideas and emotions" - Ms.P
7: Once in a while,students do some free writing.We could write poems,reading responses,letters,stories,home journals and much more.
8: FRENCH In French, we use scripts to do plays like "Veux-tu danser", "Louis la grenouille", "Qui arrive ce soir?" and others to expand our vocabulary and gain more knowledge.
9: It's just great as it allows us to learn another language and become successful in life. -Anna | French is for you to learn another culture's language so it can help you in the future. -Arun
10: Our teachers help us in various ways to polish our skills.
12: Health " It's important to learn about health so we know how our bodies function and how to take care of our bodies to stay healthy" - Joanna
14: In class, students are able to understand math in many different ways for example showing their work or working with friends.
