We first tested the Alka Seltzer as our solute on how fast it dissolves in different solvents: water, vinegar and oil. We also tested the water cold, room temperature, and hot. | Our problem was: Which temperature of water: room temperature, hot or cold dissolves Alka Seltzer faster?
 The Results
We designed our rocket in Google Docs. We wanted it to make it look like a real rocket so it would go really high and straight when the launch day would come. | Our first rocket design | Our second rocket and improved design
We chose the pointy wings because that's what the real rockets use. So we thought it was going to go really high if we added some wings. We did pointy top because a curved top would not make it go straight, just randomly somewhere else | Why we chose... for our second rocket design
Then we talked about which solvent we wanted to use for our rocket, so we decided to choose the vinegar because we though that the Alka Seltzer would dissolve faster in the vinegar and make our rocket go higher when we were testing the solvents with our solute, Alka Seltzer.
When we built our rocket... | We had some paper to draw, cut, and color our wings and tape it to the body of our rocket. We drew a big-ish circle, made the top pointy and then made it the size of the body of our rocket, and taped it to the top of the rocket. We also decorated the body of the rocket by just drawing it on a separate color piece of paper and taping it to the body to make it look cool.
