FC: My LIfe
By: Blake Kobel and Thomas Ganaden
I am a heart-filled and friendly person. I love children and taking care of them even though I do not have any. I have a sharp tongue and I use it to counter meanness and hate. I love gardening and sharing to Scout and Jem stories about their father earlier in his life.
Miss Stephanie Crawford is very important to me. She might have a big mouth but to me she means a lot. Whenever my house burned down, she took me in and let me stay with her.
This is Scout. She is my neighbor and pretty much my daughter. I take care of her like one of my own and would do anything for her.
This event effected my life forever. I care about my plants more than anything. In the middle of the night, I was keeping my plants warm and all the sudden my house caught fire. I was not aware at first but the fire spread very quickly. I hurried out and soon the whole neighborhood flocked around my house. Mr. Avery and Atticus went in after a few artifacts. Atticus managed to grab my most prized possession. After this I lived with Miss Stephanie Crawford.
The Tom Robinson trial really makes me furious. I didn't even go to the trial along with all the other people of Maycomb. What they accused and did that poor, innocent man is nonsense. Do not get me going on this trial because I will defend that poor guy like he my own son.
My rocking chair is my most prized possession. It was almost lost in the house-fire of mine. Luckily, Atticus was able to go in and save it for me. I love that man!
My flowers are the next most important things to me, right after my rocking chair. The ones I like to plant are called Azaleas. They come in all sorts of colors including pink and red. I care more about these flowers than I cared about my house that burned down!
"The handful of people in this town who say that fair play is not marked White Only; the handful of people who say a fair trial is for everybody, not just us; the handful of people with enough humility to think, when they look at a Negro, there but for the Lord's kindness am I." This sums up Miss Maudie.
