1: Although the idea of a perfect society is based almost solely on opinion and personal preference, the common ideals that many people share include the taking away of the certain things of nature that cause suffering, sickness, and although inevitable, death. | We free ourselves now from the mysticism and tyranny that has held us suppressed, and to abandon the ways of our ancestors in order to form a more perfect nation in the eyes of those willing to oblige. For those who have had enough of being the puppets of men who would see their own children dead rather than give simple coin to the cause of food. | And so we state our independence here, and take up a new land to claim as our own, to start again a society which shall be, in the very sense of the word; Utopian. | Declaration of Independence

8: Journal Entries | January 5, 2010 - The last adjustments are being laid into place to finish up the last building of our new home. I hope that soon, many people will give up their old societies to come here and start a new life with us. Before getting started with the required way of life, they will be given five days to adjust. When they arrive, they will be given the opportunity to live life to their preferences; a choice of work (secondary to military training),a choice of schools, religion, etc. January 10, 2010 - Over one-hundred new people have arrived today!!! They have been told of what they are and are not allowed to do here, and have been enjoying their first day living in Nonpareilium. From what I've been observing on the streets, the citizens have been heading towards churches, mainly Christian churches. After church, the families have gone home and have been spending time with family, as instructed. January 17, 2010 - It's Saturday, meaning time for military training. From noon until six, I witnessed a new breed of Spartans. They endured their labor without complaint and followed orders to the letter. Although they aren't the best with quick formations, they will learn over time . . . after all, it is needed if they are to protect their home. When six o'clock came around, everyone left the training area and went home to spend time with their families.
