1: Section 8.1-8.2 | This is a picture of fern which is a type of sporophyte. I can tell it is a sporophyte because of the spore caps on its underside. I took this picture in Florida on 5/12/12.

2: This is a gametophyte. This lily reproduces with sperm and egg. I took this picture in New York on 5/5/12.

3: This is a vascular plant. I could tell this iris is a vascular plant because of how tall it was and where it grew. I took this picture in front of the Middle School on 5/1/12

4: This is moss. It is a type of non-vascular plant. I can tell it is non-vascular because it is low-growing and has no roots. I took this picture near my house on 5/13/12 | This is a seedless plant. This fern uses spores instead of seeds to reproduce. I took this picture in the quad at the Middle School on 5/1/12

5: This is a bell pepper. The plant produces a vegetable from a flower annually. I took this picture at my neighbors garden on 5/13/12 | Section 8.3

6: This is a picture of a tree I took on 5/1/12 at the Middle School. The tree grows from a small seed into a mature tree.

7: This is a chair that I use every day. This chair use to be a tree. I took this picture at my house 5/13/12.

8: This dandelion has seeds that are dispersed by wind. It releases seeds that are carried by the wind, and if the conditions are right, and new plant will grow. I took this picture at the Middle School on 5/13/12.

9: These berries on the tree are seeds that are dispersed with the help of animals. I took this picture near Richardson on 5/13/12.

10: These are the annual rings of a old tree in the quad at the Middle School. I took this picture on 5/1/12

11: This leaf contains stomata on the underside of the leaf. I took this picture at my neighbors on 5/13/12.

12: The grass in this picture contain the most chlorophyll out of all the different types of plants. I took this picture
