BC: The End
FC: A (mostly) true story about a brave little girl. | The Jedi Ninja Girl
Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories. CathyAllen
Once upon a time there was a little girl named Sarah Jane. Her Mommy and Daddy had waited 9 long months for her to come into the world, and when she was born on October 26, 2010 they were SO excited to meet her. She was beautiful and everyone agreed she was the happiest baby around.
She was named after her Grandma, and boy did that Grandma love to spoil her! She bought her tutus and princess bows, but Mommy and Daddy knew that this little girl was going to be a Jedi or a Ninja- NOT a princess.
One day when she was very small, the little ninja girl got sick. It scared Mommy and Daddy to death! But they took her to the hospital where Daddy worked, and the doctors (and especially nurses!) made her better fast. It was scary for everyone, but Sarah Jane was tough.
After that, we learned that as perfect as Sarah Jane was in every other way, she had a problem with her kidneys. The little tubes between her kidneys and her bladder weren't working the way they were supposed to, and her doctors were afraid it would make her sick! So they gave her medicine that was supposed to make her better.
Only it didn't work! The little Jedi princess kept getting sick anyway. Mommy and Daddy thought for a long time about what to do and finally decided that their little girl would have an operation to fix her faulty tubes. Mama worried, but Cab knew better. "Don't worry," she said. "The Force is strong in that one."
So Sarah Jane went to have her operation. She was so strong and brave, and while most babies had to be held down and wheeled away to surgery, Sarah Jane sat happily in the doctor's arms until they gave her the medicine that made her go into a deep, deep sleep.
When she woke up, the surgery was over and she was confused and scared! The sleepy fairy dust in the medicine hadn't worn off yet, and she wasn't sure where she was- not to mention her belly hurt and she had tubes taped to her legs!
When they brought her to her new room Mama and Daddy couldn't believe who was outside her door! YODA! Apparently the other Jedis had sent Yoda to look after their favorite young Padawan. It was a sign that everything was going to be okay!
 Master Yoda
She made a quick recovery. How could she not? Yoda himself was watching over her! She had a nurse named Kim who took great care of her and tickled her and made her laugh.Mama and Daddy were there every day and Grandma spent the night twice! Her godmother and godfather even came to visit!
Sarah Jane was everyone's favorite in the WHOLE hospital. No one could believe how strong and and brave she was. One of the doctors, Dr. Trang, explained to Mommy that Sarah Jane would have a small scar from the operation. He started to tell her how it
would be very red at first, and would heal over time but always be there. "I know little princesses aren't fond of war wounds," he started to say, but Mama interrupted him.
"That's okay." she said. "This girl is not a princess, anyway. She's a ninja and ninjas LIKE scars.
It will always remind her of how brave she was- even as a little girl!"
