1: Description | Siberian huskies are medium-sized dogs, with a dense, cashmere-like under coat and a long coarse top coat. These dogs are hardworking and smart. Their coat color ranges from black to pure white, so all of the colors in between can be found on a husky.
2: Personality | Siberian Huskies are hard-working and eager to learn. They are also very strong. It has a very agreeable and outgoing temperament which makes it an all-around good dog.
4: History | Siberian huskies were bred in Siberia and are the descendants of an arctic dog bred in the eastern part of the Siberian Peninsula as sled dogs. Its strength and endurance has made it the ideal dog for sled racing. Actually, that's what many huskies are used for today.
6: Interesting Facts | The first Siberian husky was brought to the US in 1908. Few Siberian huskies remain in their native land. Siberian huskies have been the stars of many movies and stories (Balto) Siberian huskies' howls are the most similar to a wolf's howl out of all of the other dog breeds. Siberian huskies are very independent dogs and shouldn't be left alone in less they are in a closed space.
