BC: "Helping others is like helping yourself"
These pictures were taken in Misiones
The school were I studied had a programme called Marchemos Hacia La Frontera, through which we travelled to rural schools in that province
In that project, we collected donations for these five schools and we traveled once a year to deliver them
 SCHOOL #71
We stayed for one week in Misiones and visited all the schools we took the donations to
 School #86
We prepared games, songs, puppet plays and other activities for the children in those schools. We all had lots of fun!
Here we are rehearsing one of our songs
And they prepared surprises for us as well!
 So cute!
These are some of the donations in one of the schools
 School #128
 School #181
This school is actually a gim. The classrooms are separated from each other with wooden panels
This is the poorest and most remote one of the schools we visited. Less than 20 students attend this school.
 School #590
This is something we really set our hearts on. We collected donations and prepared ourselves for this trip during the whole academic year
The school is still carrying on this project but they have now changed the province they visit. | However, since we were so touched by these schools and these children, a group of graduates is still working with and for these schools in Misiones.
We hope to continue traveling there for many years. This has been, for most of us, the most rewarding experience in our lives.
We love Misiones. We love those schools. And we love those kids. | And of course, we always bring back home some yerba!
