S: I Have A Journal
BC: Property of Bob the Star
FC: By Bob the star | My Journal
1: Dedicated to the star who blew up and created me.
2: Wednesday, 1675 | This is my first day of existence! It’s pretty hard to write this, because I am a big cloud of gas and dust. I am being pulled by gravity into the form of a sphere. When I get denser, I will get much hotter. It’s really hard to believe that I am made of another star’s remains! The outer shell, to be exact.
3: Friday, 1998 | I am finally a star! I now generate energy in my core. I make the energy by fusing hydrogen atoms into helium atoms. The fusion releases lots of energy. I am called a Main-sequence star. Other stars tell me this is the longest stage.
4: Monday, 2998 | I am an adult! I am cooling down because I am using all my hydrogen atoms. It will cause me to shrink eventually. My atmosphere will grow very large, and I will become a red giant, or a supergiant. Red giants can be 10 times bigger than the sun, but a supergiant can be 100 times bigger than the sun.
5: I am a White Dwarf star right now. I used up all of my hydrogen, and like other WDs, I am smaller than the sun. I still remember what happened. I was a big blue star, when I suddenly blew off my outer layers in a supernova. The layers will become nebula, and create more stars. What was left of me compressed into an White Dwarf star, and will shine for billions of more years before blinking out of existence.

7: Note: Bob the Star does not actually exist, and this book is 100% made up except for the information about the stars and the star phases.
