About This Mixbook

  • Title: Trip in Beijing - Part 1 (Dec 2006)
  • An unforgettable trip!! I finally had the chance to see Mao Tze-Tung (embalmed and lying in his crystal coffin), the Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are many different resturaunts in Beijing representing various styles of Chinese cuisines. If you love food you will certainly love this city. The only pain is that you will have to bring your own toilet paper with you at all times, unless all places you visit are five-star hotels or the like (in which case you will miss out the majority of the good local resturaunts)! However, I believe this will no longer be a worry at all after the 2008 Olympics :-)
