S: Pa and Va 2011 weekend Trips
1: After Sue finished three books on Thomas Jefferson John surprised her by saying lets go to VA for the weekend and see Monticello and hike the Blue Ridge. Well as you will see Monticello was great, even got to see Montpelier(James Madison's home ) but the Blue Ridge well the pictures say it all. | Virginia August 2011

9: There really was some green in all the fog
10: Jefferson created a similar conservatory and Madison copied it. This is both a place for reflection and it sits on top of a ice house. Each spring ice is brought from the mountains and stored underground in this ice house to be used during the summer.

12: Labor Day 2011 We traveled to central PA to hike Ricketts Glenn State Park which has over 20 water falls in a 3 mile hike , saw the grand canyon of PA and visited friends at State College.
