The United States officially got involved in the war on December 8, 1941. The surrender to end World War 2 was signed on September 2, 1945. | The United States got involved for a number of reasons. These reasons were very important because if a country gains to much land, they could become too powerful. For example, Germany to overAustria and Sudetenland. Also a pact called the Munich Pact was created with England, France, and Germany. It allowed Germany to have SUdtenland as long as they didn't capture anymore land. Japan joined with Germany and Italy. Hitler then invaded Poland. England and France declared war on Germany. Finally, what really pushed the United states over the edge was that Japan dropped a bomb on Pearl Harbor. After this they then declared war and got involved.
World War II started because Hitler, the Nazis, and Germany wanted to expand. They wanted world domination. Another reason was that the Fascist Party was created. People in this party believed that Military-dominated government should control all aspects of society. | The major Allied countries were Britain, France, China, Soviet Union, Canada, US, and Australia. The Axis countries were Italy, Germany, and Japan.
Rosie the Riveter urged woman to enter into the job market to replace soldiers that were departing to war. The significance was to encourage woman to do their part in the war by getting a job, so that they could help in the production of the weapons and tolls needed in the war.
Would War II greatly helped the economy get out of the great depression. With people fighting for the country in WWII it greatly helped the economy. Everyone was doing their part of fighting with the war. With the troops over and out of the counties woman had to work.To build weapons and things. This helped the economy because countries were buying this and people didn't spend as much money because they were busy working and taking care of their kids. Also, they only bought what they needed because they already didn't have very much money. This improved the economy because it started improving the buying and selling of products.
There were a lot of weapons in WWII. There were Aircrafts, ships, land systems, and small arms. There were a lot of guns, missiles, and cannons. Some of the attacks came from ships and air crafts in the air. Everyone was scared that the other country completed atomic weapons. Like the one the US launched in Japan.
