Hearing your heartbeat was the most amazing sound your daddy and I have ever heard. | Sept. 16, 2010 I got to see you again at 8 weeks. Look how much you have grown. I could see your arms and your heartbeat was so strong. Praise God!
November 16, 2010 | This was such an exciting day for us. We couldn't wait to tell everyone, but we had to keep you a secret for a week so that we could surprise everyone on Thanksgiving day. We showed everyone the ultrasound video and that's how they found out you were a girl.
NEW BEGINNINGS | I was extremely tired throughout the first trimester. I would come home from school and just want to go to bed. The second trimester I gained all of my energy back and was actually able to stay up till 10:00 p.m. The third trimester was probably the hardest because I was starting to get really uncomfortable throughout the day and I was waking up about 3 times a night to go to the restroom. I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes which put a damper on my diet. The only thing I really craved throughout the pregnancy was MILK! I wanted a huge glass every morning and night! I so enjoyed being pregnant with you but couldn't wait to meet you and hold you in my arms!
35 weeks | I went into preterm labor at 35 weeks and had to take medicine to stop contractions and I was put on bedrest for 1 1/2 weeks. | "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" Psalm 139:13

It's time! The Birth Story | I woke up at 4:15 a.m. with a really strong contraction. As soon as I stood up my water broke. I got to the restroom quickly and called for your daddy. I told him it was time. We started timing the contractions just to make sure that it was my water and sure enough my contractions started coming 5-6 minutes apart and really strong. | We decided to head to the hospital. We got there a little after 5:00 a.m. and went straight to the birthing floor. I got in a room and they checked me and I was already 5 cm. I got an epidural around 7:00 and I was already 8 cm. By 8:00 I was 10 cm and then you came into the world at 9:00 a.m. Holding you in my arms for the first time was one of the most amazing moments of my whole life.
