 Amelia Marie | December 18, 2011 3:15 AM 9 pounds, 0.5 ounces 22.5 inches
The first time ever I saw your face, I thought the sun rose in your eyes . . .
My labor started when my water broke around 8:00 AM on Friday, December 16th. I knew first labors were long, but I never expected to still be in labor on Sunday morning. Luckily, I had the help of your daddy, a wonderful doula, and a midwife. Your labor was long and at times a little painful, but the moment I saw you none of that mattered. Right after you were born you were placed on my chest, it was love at first sight. You were the most beautiful baby I had ever seen! With the hunger of a mighty Lyon you nursed for the first time. I will treasure those first precious moments with you for the rest of my life.
I never knew what the future held until I held my daughter!
 Our New Family
 The Wonder of You!
She will fill our lives with sunshine.... And our hearts with love.
"I see who I want to be, in my daughter's eyes."
You were taken to the NICU just 24 hours after you were born for rapid breathing and you were diagnosed with Transient Tachypnea. You were there for four days. Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Feeney took turns staying with you so you wouldn't be alone. Because of your breathing trouble you had to get a feeding tube. You also developed jaundice and had to stay under the bili lights. Thankfully, your stay was a short one and there were no major complications. You got to come home on Thursday, December 22, 2011. Mommy and Daddy were so happy yo finally have you home!
Dear Santa, I want one of everything
 Baby's First Christmas
You didn't make it to the ball drop . . . Maybe next year!
 Announcing you to the world!
Pretty dresses Little Curls, Oh thank heaven for little girls!
The first man a little girl falls in love with is her dad.
"Courage, determination, pride...that's what little girls are made of."
A new baby is like the beginning of all things-wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.
Your first month was filled with a lot of learning, love and laughter. Daddy and I can't wait to see what's to come!
