1: Cynthia Joanne January 11, 2010 Born at 8:52 pm 8 lbs, 21.5 inches
2: We went into the hospital at about 8:30 in the morning to begin the induction. It was noon before the contractions really started. We spent a lot of time waiting. | Things were slow until probably until around 5:30-6:00. And then things started to pick up. But you still took your time. After 1.5 hours of pushing, you arrived at 8:52 pm.
3: Cute as a button | There was a waiting room full of people that were anxious to find out if you were a girl or boy. Dad sent a text to Granddad, but he didn't look at his phone. It was about an hour after you were born before everyone found out that we were blessed with a sweet girl.

5: Everyone was anxious to come in and see you. It was a lot of fun to have a group of family waiting your arrival. | Auntie M | Grandma CeCe | Daddy
6: The first few hours were tough.

12: The first couple of weeks, you did a lot of sleeping while you had a lot of visitors. Grandparents, cousins, aunts & uncles all wanted a little Cynthia time.

17: When you were about 3 weeks old, we traveled to Oklahoma for Dad's work. We thought we would get to visit family in Stillwater & Perry, but the weather was just too bad. We weren't able to get far enough North. So, you and Mom spent a couple of days in the hotel while Dad worked.
18: Our Baby Giirl | You started to sleep through the night towards the end of the month. This month you were awake more and love to play, talk, and smile to anyone around!
21: You found your voice during the month of March. You love to coo, laugh, and talk all the time. | March

30: May was a busy month. We visited Big Mama, and celebrated both Mother's Day and Memorial Day.
34: In June, we enjoyed Father's Day and traveled to Rockdale to for the Mt. Zion Homecoming where you got to meet Grandmother Cash along with many others from the Cash and Shelander family.
36: July | 6 Month Stats: 18 lbs, 12.5 oz 26 inches

39: July was a busy month. You had your first solid food (rice cereal) & went to your first Astros game with Mom and the youth from Mims Baptist.
40: August | This month we traveled to Oklahoma to visit family. We stopped in Ft. Worth to see Sandy and then went on to Stillwater & Perry.

45: You started trying to crawl this month, but weren't really successful until after your 9 month birthday. | Thea, Kathrine, Cynthia & Ruby

58: On the evening of December 21st, we took you to the emergency room because your breathing was very labored and you weren't responding to the breathing treatments. You were admitted to the hospital and tested positive for RSV. You spent your first Christmas in the hospital and were releassed on December 26th.
59: The nurses were nice and let us take you for wagon rides even though you were supposed to be in isolation. | You liked the milkshake dad brought mom on Christmas Day! | Christmas morning you were greeted with presents from strangers.
60: We celebrated Christmas on the 26th after we came home from the hospital. | We opened your presents under the tree around lunch time. Granny & Granddad came over that evening to give you more presents.
