FC: A baby is something you carry inside | you for nine months, in your arms | for three years and in your heart till | the day you die." ~ Mary Mason | Jude Patrick Corbett

1: About Our Family | Mommy and Daddy were High School Sweethearts. When we met, mommy was 15 and daddy was 17. Within months of knowing each other, we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We got married on September 24, 2005 at the ages of 24 and 25. In March of 2006, Chesney, our beloved puppy became a member of our family. She is not going to know what to do with another baby in the house. On February 7, 2011 your big sister, Lucy, came into our lives. She is going to be so happy to have you around! And on February 25, 2012, when we thought life couldn't get any sweeter, God showed us that it could, we found out we were going to have YOU!

2: How We Found Out | YOU WERE OFFICIALLY THE BIGGEST SURPRISE OF OUR LIVES! A couple weeks after your big sister Lucy's first birthday, Mommy started thinking that something seemed a little different. So on a Saturday morning, when Daddy was off, Mommy, Daddy, Chesney and Lucy were all laying in bed. Daddy was about to book a trip to San Francisco for Mommy and Daddy to go wine tasting. Mommy went into the bathroom to take a pregnancy test. She came out with a big smile on her face and told Daddy that she didn't think we were going to be doing any wine tasting in the next nine months. Daddy was so shocked he couldn't believe it, so he went out and got two different types of test. And both of them told us what we were so excited to hear! WE WERE GOING TO BE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY!

They were all very excited to hear the great news! That night we went out to eat with Aunt Karen and Uncle Dave and told them the BIG NEWS! | Guess Whoo is going to be a Big Sister? Lucy, That's Whoo!!!

6: At our first doctor's appointment, we got to see you for the first time. It was so special because it made you a reality for us. We always knew we wanted to have more children and give Lucy a best friend for life. And seeing you on the screen, meant that our dreams were coming true. We had another baby on the way and we couldn't have been more excited. We were going to be a family of four. | First Ultrasound | The Exciting First Glimpses of You! | 3/19/2012

26: Your Nursery | Dresser By Daddy | We picked bright colors for your room so that it was unique and cheerful. They were colors that would work if you were a girl or a boy since we didn't know what you were going to be. The colors were inspired by the Piggy Bank we bought you when we were trying to get pregnant. We got it in Cozumel 2 1/2 years before you were born. Thankfully you have talented Grandma's because Great Grandma Eaves and Grandma Sharon made the curtains and the bedding. Mommy was a bargain shopper and found your dresser that was regularly $800 at the Land of Nod outlet for $50. It was at the outlet because the top was damaged, so your handy daddy cut a new top for it and painted it turquoise to match your room. We worked so hard on your room. It was perfect.

Over the coarse of 35 hours, over 20 inches of snow fell on Chicago, stranding hundreds of drivers for over 12 hours overnight on the city's Lake Shore Drive. 32: Oct 19, 2012 | 5:00 p.m. | 21 inches | 8lbs. 14oz. | Jude Patrick Corbett | You were born at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Daddy drove mommy there from our house in Aurora and we got to the hospital at 8:00am. It was a Monday morning and there was so much snow left on the ground from the blizzard we had just had. At the hospital you took your time coming out but that was alright. Once it was time for you to come out, your delivery was a very peaceful, intimate experience. The lights were dim and it was just Mommy, Daddy, Dr. Frangella, and the nurse. Daddy was a big help with your delivery, he was like a second nurse and a great coach for Mommy. When you were born you didn't cry that much but Daddy and Mommy did. Mommy wanted to hold you as soon as you came out. So they put you on Mommy's chest for a few minutes before they even cleaned you off or weighed you. Then after they cleaned you off and checked on you, Mommy and Daddy spent an hour just holding you and looking at you. We were so enamored by you. We called you 'Baby Girl' for an hour before we decided on your name. We couldn't believe you were a girl. Our Beautiful Baby Girl.

40: Progress | You Made Our Dreams Come True | Dear Baby, This song meant a lot to us when you came into our lives and I hope you will live by it. | I hope you never lose your sense of wonder You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger May you never take one single breath for granted God forbid love ever leave you empty-handed I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance I hope you dance I hope you dance I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance Never settle for the path of least resistance Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth making Don't let some hell-bent heart leave you bitter When you come close to selling out reconsider Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance And when you get the choice to sit it our or dance Dance I hope you dance | Love, Mommy & Daddy

41: We Will Love You Forever | Dear Lucy, You are in our lives now and we are truly blessed . You have made my life complete. Words cannot express the amount of Love I have for you. I get butterflies in my stomach when I look at you and realize you are mine. Every day I wake up and I see your perfect face, I Thank God for giving you to me. And every night before I go to bed, I ask him to protect you because I never want a life without you in it. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I look forward to our years ahead. You will be my best friend. I know their will be times when we won't think so, but we will get through them and be closer because of them. Daddy and I had to be patient for God to bring you into our lives but you were worth the wait. Love, Your Mommy
