S: Sydney Brinn: The First Year
1: On Tuesday November 16th, 2010 at 8:54 a.m. Sydney Brinn Welbourne was welcomed into this world weighing 5 pounds and 14 ounces measuring 18.9 inches
2: We loved you before you were even born! We had so many ultrasounds done of you so we got to watch you grow!
3: You grew in mommy's belly for 37 weeks! What an amazing experience that was. You got the hiccups every day and loved to kick!
4: On our way to the hospital at 5:30a.m. | Nervous dad! | Waiting for the Doctors to get ready. | Being wheeled out of my room and into surgery!
5: Your very first weight! Your hair was so curly! Your very first pout! Our very first look at you! The little gold heart on your belly was a temperature monitor. You didn't need it for very long.
6: Your first professional photography session with Bella baby! The photographer said babies don't usually open their eyes for the photos. As soon as she said that, you opened your eyes for the rest of the pictures!
7: Our Perfect Family!
8: You got your first bath when you were just a couple of hours old! | Grandma and Grandpa Welbourne were there to visit you when you were just a few hours old! Grandpa really loved holding you. You were so tiny and perfect!
9: On our way home from the hospital on November 19th! Look how teeny tiny you were!
10: On November 21st, you met your Grandpa and Grandma Hinkel. You were only five days old!
12: We celebrated your first Thanksgiving at home with all four of your grandparents. It was a nice day because we got to give thanks for having you!
14: We celebrated the Welbourne Family Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma's house on December 11th, 2010. You met Uncle Juan and Aunt Bridget that day!
15: Your very first Christmas! We spent the day at home and it was a very Merry Christmas indeed!
16: On February 10th, 2011 you had bilateral inguinal hernia surgery performed at Childrens Memorial Hospital. Your doctor was Dr. Rowell, a pediatric surgeon. Surgery started at 8:00AM and you were home by noon! Mommy and Daddy were very nervous about the whole thing. These pictures were taken before surgery. You were very sleepy because we had to get there very early in the morning.You were pretty hungry too because you couldn't eat anything for 8 hours before surgery.
17: Daddy held you as you woke up from anesthesia. You did great from beginning to end! | Your first taste of cherry! You got cherry Pedialyte as soon as you woke up.
18: You LOVED your jumperoo! | It gave you quite the workout though!
19: And you loved to laugh! | You started to put EVERYTHING in your mouth!
20: You spent your first Easter with Daddy & Mommy and all four of your grandparents. You met the Easter Bunny during brunch- you weren't too impressed!
21: You got your first Easter basket from the Easter bunny! You got a bunny, sippy cups, books and toys! You liked going through it all!
22: Daddy loved to carry you around in the baby Bjorn! You were pretty happy in it too! Grandma Hinkel knitted the pink lamb for you and you thought it was so soft! | These are some of our favorite photos from your first six months.

25: We had your pictures done on your six month birthday, May 16th, 2011. You were so good for them, until the flower pot pictures! You got tired of that hat very quickly!
27: On June 12th, 2011 you had professional photographs taken by Becky Russow at our house. Grandpa and Grnadma Welbourne came over and watched. You had fun.
28: You were baptised at the Church of the Transfiguration in Palos Park, by Reverend John Keidel. | Brandon and Kristina Presern were excited to become your godparents! Even though the church looks empty, it got very full for your ceremony! | July 12th, 2011 The Day of Your Baptism
29: This was your baptism ceremony. Your godparents promised to watch over you and help guide you. You were a little upset by the attention until you got your pacifier. Then you didn't mind the water on your head at all! | Then you were carried around the church to be introduced to the congregation. You were all smiles!
30: On September 23rd, 2011, we flew down to St. Croix to visit Grandpa and Grandma Hinkel. It was your first plane trip and you did great! We spent ten days there and you loved it. We went to the beach, to the Botanical Gardens and swam in the pool every day! You were an island girl right away. You loved the sand and the sea!
32: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! WE WENT TRICK OR TREATING WITH THE RAMOLEYS (NOLAN, CARSON AND LYDIA) AND A FEW OTHER KIDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. YOU HAD FUN PICKING OUT CANDY! THEN BEFORE BED YOU CHECKED OUT YOUR LOOT!
33: YOU HAD A FUN FIRST FALL: YOU WENT TO NOLAN AND CARSON'S BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE CHILDREN'S FARM, YOU MET ISAAC FOR THE FIRST TIME, WENT TO A PUMPKIN PATCH AND A PETTING ZOO!
34: You loved your kitty cat Phoebe! You liked to call her Ahtt! You would crawl to her whenever you saw her to try and pet her. | You and Mojo were pals, though he was often jealous of you. When you were first starting to talk, you called him Butch!
36: We had your 1st Birthday party on Saturday November 12th. You had lots of guests come to your cupcake themed party. Uncle Chris came from Wyoming to meet you and Grandma Hinkel flew in from St. Croix for your party. Everyone had a lot of fun!
37: Mommy made you a giant cupcake with lots of pink frosting. You liked your first taste of cake!
38: Happy Birthday Sydney Brinn! These were taken on November 16th, 2011!
39: Sydney- We are so lucky to have you in our lives. This first year has been amazing, watching you grow and explore, and we are excited for the years to come. We love you so so very much! Love Always, Daddy & Mommy
