2: 2 | Congratulations on your wedding day! As we thought of a perfect gift for you two, we decided to create a special cookbook with a collection of recipes that you both enjoy! They always say a way to a man's heart is through his stomach and as much as Cody loves food, we figured this cookbook could help Amber keep him happy (although we know she will everyday anyhow!) 3: Ingredients: 4 Cups of Love 2 Cups of Loyalty Big Dash of Faith 3 cups of Kindness 4 Cups of Understanding 1 Cup of Friendship 5 Spoonfuls of Hope 1 Barrel of Laughter Pinch of Forgiveness (no substitutions) | Directions: Take love and loyalty and mix thoroughly with faith. Blend in kindness and understanding, add friendship and hope. Sprinkle abundantly with laughter. Garnish with forgiveness and thoughtfulness. Bake with sunshine. Serve daily with generous helpings. | A Good Marriage | 3
4: Ingredients: 2 pkg. Little Smokies 1 lb. bacon 1/2 cup brown sugar | Bacon-Wrapped Smokies | Appetizers | Directions: Layer 9 x 13 dish with foil and spray with cooking spray. Wrap each smokie link with 1/3 piece of bacon. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar over little smokies. Bake @ 350 for about an hour until bacon is crispy (about an hour). | 4 | Spinach Dip | Ingredients: 1 Hawaiian bread bowl 1-10 oz. pkg. Spinach, thawed and drained 1-cup Mayo 1-pkg. Knorr Vegetable Dip 1-16 oz. sour cream Directions: Mix sour cream, dry veggie dip mix, drained spinach, and mayo. Chill. When ready to serve, cut bread bowl and place dip in center.
5: Buffalo Chicken Dip | Ingredients: 1 8 oz. package cream cheese 1 2 cup pkg. cheddar cheese 1 cup Frank's Red Hot Sauce 1 cup Ranch Dressing 1 package Oscar Mayer Grilled Chicken Breast Strips Directions: Soften cream cheese and mix with buffalo sauce, dressing, and chicken. Place in 9 x 13 pan. Top with shredded cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 35 or until cheese melts. | 5 | Taco Dip | Ingredients: 1 8 oz. package cream cheese 1 8 oz sour cream 1 taco seasoning packet 1- 2 cup pkg. Mexican cheese Directions: Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning. Layer in 9 x 13 pan. Top with cheese and any other desired toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, onion). Serve with Tostitos.
6: Mac and Cheese | Side Dishes | Ingredients: 1 2 lb. block Velveeta 1 pkg. Elbow noodles 4 Tbsp. Butter 4 Tbsp. Flour 3 1/2 cups milk Directions: In large stockpot, melt butter with flour on med-high heat. Add milk and constantly stir until sauce thickens. Add chunks of Velveeta cheese cubes and stir until melted. Pour sauce over cooked and drained noodles in 9 x 13 dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. | 6
7: 7 | Hashbrown Casserole | Ingredients: 1 large bag shredded hashbrowns 1 stick margarine 1 can cream of mushroom soup 16 oz. container sour cream 2 cups cheddar cheese salt and pepper Directions: Mix hashbrowns, melted butter, soup, sour cream, and cheese in large bowl. When well blended, spread in 9 x 13 pan and add salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.
8: Side Dishes | Ingredients: 3 lb. potatoes, cooked and diced 1 pkg. Velveeta Shreds 1 chopped green onion 1 chopped green pepper 1 lb. bacon, fried 1- 11.75 oz. mayo Directions: In 9 x 13 pan, layer potatoes, green pepper, bacon. green onion, and Velveeta. Cover top with mayo. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted. | 8 | Baked Potato Casserole
9: 9 | Mexican Cornbread Salad | Ingredients: 1 pkg. Mexican cornbread 1 packet ranch dressing mix 8 oz container sour cream 1 cup mayo 1 can pinto beans 2 cups cheddar cheese 1 pkg. Real Bacon Bits 1 can whole kernel corn, drained 1/2 cup green onion 1/2 cup tomato Directions: Prepare cornbread as directed, cool. Stir together salad dressing mix, mayo, and sour cream until blended and set aside. Crumble 1/2 cornbread in large bowl, top with half each of the beans, green onions, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, corn, and dressing mixture. Repeat the layer. Cover and chill at least 3 hours.
10: Ingredients: 1 head lettuce 1 head cauliflower 1 chopped onion 1 lb. bacon, fried 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup mayo Salt and pepper to taste 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese Directions: Break up lettuce and cauliflower into bite size pieces. Layer lettuce, bacon, onion, and cauliflower. Combine sugar, mayo, cheese, salt and pepper and spread on top to seal. Cover tightly and chill overnight. Mix well before serving. | 10 | Cauliflower Salad
11: Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef, browned 5 large flour tortilla shells 1 taco seasoning packet 1 small can green chilies 1/2 cup sour cream 1 cup cheddar cheese 1 can enchilada sauce Directions: In large bowl, mix beef and taco seasoning. Add sour cream, chilies, and 1/2 of cheese. Place meat in each shell and place in 9 x 13 pan that is sprayed with cooking spray. Top with enchilada sauce. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. | Enchiladas | 11 | Main Dishes
12: Ingredients: 4 boneless chicken breasts 1 pkg. Italian dressing mix 1 Tbsp. butter 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 pkg. cream cheese 1/2 pkg. of favorite noodles (we use spaghetti) Directions: Place chicken, butter, and Italian dressing mix in crockpot on let cook on low for 6 hours. I often check the chicken and shred it as it is cooking. Add soup and cream cheese and cook on high for 30 minutes. Serve over noodles. | 12 | Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff
13: 13 | Lasagna | Ingredients: 1 lb. browned ground beef 1 lb. browned sausage 1 large container cottage cheese 1 egg 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 9 lasagna noodles, cooked 1 large container spaghetti sauce Directions: Mix ground beef, sausage, and spaghetti sauce in large bowl. In separate dish, mix cottage cheese and egg. In 9 x 13 pan, layer meat sauce, noodles, cottage cheese mix, and cheese. Repeat. Make final layer thick with cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 375 covered with foil for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until cheese is browned.
14: 14 | Meatloaf | Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 3/4 cup oats 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 small can tomato sauce 1 egg 1/2 cup ketchup 1/3 cup mustard 1/3 cup brown sugar Directions: In loaf pan, mix beef, oats, onion, tomato sauce, and beaten egg. Mold into loaf. Bake at 350 for an hour. Make sauce from ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Pour over meatloaf and continue baking for about 15 minutes.
15: Ingredients: 8 slices bread 1 lb. browned sausage or fried bacon 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups milk 6 eggs, beaten Salt and Pepper to taste Directions: Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Cover bottom of pan with half of the bread, half of the meat, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers. Combine eggs and milk. Pour over layers. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes, covered with foil. | 15 | Breakfast Casserole
16: Mandy's M&M Cookies | Ingredients: 3 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 Crisco stick 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 pkg. M & M's Directions: Preheat oven to 375. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat well. Stir in M & M's. Drop cookies onto cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. | 16 | Desserts
17: 17 | Pumpkin Cookies | Ingredients: 1 1/2 cup Crisco 2 1/2 cup sugar 3 eggs 1 can mashed pumpkin 4 1/2 cups flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Directions: Preheat oven to 375. Cream together Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and pumpkin to creamed mixture and beat well. Add all dry ingredients to mixture gradually and mix well. Drop cookies onto cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. When cool, ice with cream cheese frosting.
18: 18 | Dirt Pudding | Ingredients: 1 large pkg. Oreo cookies 8 oz. cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 stick margarine 2 packs Instant French Vanilla pudding 3 1/2 cup milk 12 oz. Cool Whip Directions: Crush Oreo's in Ziploc bag with a rolling pin. Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and margarine on low speed with mixer. Blend in Cool Whip. Prepare pudding as directed, using only 3 1/2 cups milk, in separate bowl. Mix with cream cheese mixture. Layer Oreo's, pudding, Oreo's, pudding until container is full. Refrigerate.
19: Ingredients: 60 Vanilla wafer cookies 1 cup sugar 1 stick butter, melted 3 pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs Directions: Preheat oven to 325. Line a round cake pan with foil and spray with cooking spray. Finely crush cookies, mix with butter and press into bottom of pan. Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add sour cream and vanilla, mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time beating on low speed until each is just blended. Pour over crust. Bake 45-50 minutes of until center is almost set. Let stand to cook and refrigerate overnight. Pull out of pan by foil and place on serving trap. Top with any toppings of your choice. | Cheesecake | 19
