3: - 3 - | Hot Apple Cider | 6 cups apple cider 1/4 cup maple syrup 2 cinnamon sticks 6 whole cloves 6 whole allspice berries 1 orange peel, cut into strips 1 lemon peel, cut into strips McIntosh Apples, Optional Pour cider and maple syrup into CrockPot. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, orange peel and lemon peel in a piece of cheesecloth; tie up and drop into CrockPot. Heat until cider is very hot but not boiling. Turn off heat and discard spice bundle. Thinly slice McIntosh apples and drop into cup just before serving. | Time: 15 minutes | Serves: 6

4: - 4 - | Ice Cream Punch | 1 package pineapple Jello 2 cups sugar 3 cups very hot water 2 3/4 pineapple juice (1/2 tall can) 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate 3 oz frozen lemonade concentrate Two 2 liter ginger ale Two 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream Mix Jello, sugar, and water till dissolved. Cool. Add pineapple juice, orange juice, and lemonade. Pour into two 2 quart pitchers. Freeze till solid. Set out several hours before serving. 7: BBQ Meatballs | - 7 - | 1 pound ground beef 1 large egg 12 saltine crackers, crushed 3/4 cup milk 1 t sugar 1 T parsley flakes 5 long strips bacon (cooked, crumbled) Mix beef, egg, crackers, milk, sugar, parsley, bacon well and form into balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes. Drain well for approximately 5 minutes. Mix ketchup, vinegar, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire in bowl. Put meatballs in Crock Pot. Pour sauce over. Cook 1 hour on low. | Sauce 1 1/2 cups ketchup 1 1/2 T Vinegar 3/4 brown sugar 1/2 T mustard 1 t Worcestershire | Time: 2 hours Yield: 25-30

8: - 8 - | Chili Dip | 8 oz cream cheese, soft 15 oz can chili Put in glass dish and microwave on medium high till it stirs smooth and creamy (about 5 minutes). Eat with tortilla chips | Time: 6 minutes Servings: 4-5

9: - 9 - | Time: 20 minutes Yield: 25-30 | Cocktail Wieners | 1 lb. Cocktail Wieners 5 1/2 cups Ketchup (half a bottle) 1/2 cup Grape Jelly Mix ketchup and grape jelly together in Crockpot. Add wieners, heat until hot.

10: Mozzarella Sticks | - 10 - | 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs 1 cup Parmesan 1 teaspoon salt mozzarella sticks cut in half 4 large eggs, beaten 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil Stir breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and salt in bowl. Dip cheese in the eggs. Coat cheese in breadcrumbs. Dip in eggs and crumbs again. Place on baking sheet. Cover and freeze until frozen, about 2 hours and up to 2 days. Heat oil in large frying pan. Fry until golden brown, about 1 minute per side. Sprinkle with Parmesan. | Time: 3 hours Yield: 36

13: - 13 - | Applesauce Bread | 1 yellow cake mix 1 c apple sauce 1/4 c oil 1/2 t cinnamon 1/4 t allspice 1 package vanilla instant pudding 1/2 c water 4 large eggs, beaten 4 t nutmeg (or less) Combine all in large mixing bowl. Blend well, beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack. | Time: 1 hour 15 minutes Serves: 2 loaves

14: - 14 - | Banana Bread | 3/4 c Crisco 1/2 c sugar 3 eggs, beaten 2 T lemon juice 3/4 c milk 3 1/2 c flour 3 t baking powder 1 t salt 1 t baking soda 3 large ripe bananas, mashed 1 c shopped walnuts - optional Combine Crisco, sugar, eggs. Add lemon juice, milk. Whisk in flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda. Stir in walnuts and bananas. pour into 2 well greased loaf pans. let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. | Time: 1 hour 30 minutes Yield: 2 loaves

15: - 15 - | Cheese Filled Breadsticks | 1 Tbsp. yeast 1 c. very warm water 1 t. sugar 1 t. salt 2 T. olive oil 2 1/2 c. flour string cheese garlic powder 1/3 c. melted butter Combine yeast, water, sugar. Mix with salt, olive oil, flour. Knead. Rest 5-10 minutes. Separate dough into 12 balls. Roll balls into breadsticks. Flatten with rolling pin. Lay cheese on breadstick. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Fold dough around cheese. Seal well! Brush melted butter on each breadstick. Sprinkle with garlic powder (again). Allow to rise 5-10 minutes. Bake at 450 for 12 minutes. Brush on more melted butter. | Time: 1 hour Yield: 12

16: - 16 - | Butterhorn Rolls | Mix water, yeast, sugar to dissolve. Set aside. In a big bowl, mix together sugar, butter, salt, eggs. Add flour. It will be thin like cake batter. Cover with plastic wrap and towel. Let stand overnight to rise. Add 1 cup flour little by little, till not sticky but soft and pliable. Divide dough into 2 parts. Roll each into a circle about 12"-14". cut with plastic scraper into 12 wedges. Roll up wide side to point. Set on cookie sheet. Cover with towel and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes. Brush tops with butter with waxed paper when still hot. | Time: 10 hours Yield: 24 | 1 c warm water 2 1/2 t yeast 1 T sugar 1 c flour | 1/2 c sugar 1 stick butter 1 t salt 3 eggs 4 1/2 c flour

17: - 17 - | Cheddar Bay Biscuits | 1/4 t garlic salt or powder 1/2 t parsley flakes 1/4 t Italian seasoning 2 c Bisquick 1/2 c cold water 3/4 c sharp cheddar 2 T butter Preheat oven to 450. Mix Bisquick, water, cheese. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Brush melted butter mixed with garlic powder, parsley flakes, Italian seasoning. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Brush with butter mixture again while hot. | Time: 15 minutes Yield: 12

18: - 18 - | White Bread | 1 1/4 c worm water 1 1/2 t bread machine yeast 2 T sugar 1/4 c canola or vegetable oil 4 c bread flour 1 t salt In bread machine pan add water, yeast, sugar. Let rest a couple minutes then add oil and flour. Then all around edge of flour sprinkle salt. set machine on 2 pound capacity and basic medium setting. First few minutes scrape sides and add flour if needed. | Time: 3 hours 30 minutes Serves: 2 lb loaf

21: - 21 - | Pepperoni Pizza Soup | 1 can tomato soup 1 soup can water 1 t Italian seasoning 2/3 c sliced pepperoni Croutons Shredded mozzarella cheese In a 2-quart saucepan, combine soup, water, pepperoni, and seasoning. Heat just to boiling. Pour into serving bowls and top with cheese and croutons. | Time: 10 minutes | Serves: 1-2

22: - 22 - | Potato Soup | 2 T olive oil 4-5 med potatoes, diced 3 chicken bouillon cubes 2 cans cream of celery soup instant potato flakes, thickener 4 oz cream cheese, cubed 8 slices Velveeta cheese 1/2 lb bacon, diced 6-7 c hot water 2 cans evaporated milk celery flakes celery salt 1/4 c sour cream | In soup pot, heat oil. Add bacon. Stir often. Add potatoes, water, cubes. Turn heat up to high. Boil till potatoes are soft (15 minutes). Add cheese slices, soup and stir to melt. Add milk and pepper. Stir in sour cream, cream cheese, flakes. Simmer on low. | Time: 1 hour | Serves: 6-8

23: - 23 - | Chicken and Gnocchi | 1 T olive oil 4 T butter 1/2 c celery, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 c carrots, shredded 1/4 c flour 1 quart half & half 14 oz chicken broth 1 c cooked chicken, shredded 1/2 t parsley 1/2 t thyme 1/4 t nutmeg 1 t salt 1 package gnocchi 1 cup spinach, chopped | Add oil, butter to pot. Melt. Add celery, garlic, carrots. Simmer. Add flour. Brown. Add half & half. Simmer until thick. Add broth. Boil. Add chicken, spices, gnocchi. Cook as directed on package. Add spinach. Serve with bread sticks. | Time: 30 min | Serves: 6-8

25: Grape Salad | - 25 - | 4 lb red seedless grapes 8 oz cream cheese 8 oz sour cream 8 oz cool whip 2 c powdered sugar Pull grapes off stems and wash well. pat dry with paper towels. In large bowl, with mixer, beat cream cheese, sour cream, cool whip, powdered sugar. Fold grapes into mixture. Chill. | Time: 10 minutes Serves: 6-8

Fry hash browns. Fry sausage and drain. Sprinkle with flour and fry 3-4 minutes. Add milk. Stir constantly till thickened. Fill heated tortillas. | Time: 25 minutes Yield: 10

31: BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | - 31 - | French Toast | 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c milk 1/2 t salt 1/2 t vanilla 1/2 c butter, melted 1 c corn flakes Texas toast Combine eggs, milk, salt, vanilla. Mix well. Dip bread into egg mixture. Coat both sides with flakes. place on well greased cookie sheet. drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. | Time: 15 minutes Yield: 6

32: - 32 - | Phil’s Big Breakfast | 1 bag frozen Hash Brown Potato squares 1 pkg bacon slices 12 large eggs 8 oz shredded sharp chedder cheese Cook Bacon. Crumble into bite sized pieces when cool enough and set aside. Cook hash bron potatoes. Keep turning so they dont burn. These ake a little longe that eggs do. Brak eggs into bowl and beat. Salt and pepper to taste. Scramble till done. Put eggs, hash browns, and bacon into stock pot. Stir. Sprinkle cheese on top.

Serve sauce over mashed potatoes. | Time: 1 hour 15 minutes Serves: 5-6

38: - 60 - | Time: 15 minutes Serves: 6 | 2 bags eggnoodles 1 lb ground beef 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 c sour cream 1 can milk Boil and drain noodles. Fry and drain beef. Mix well together with soup, sour cream, milk. | Beef Stroganoff

40: - 60 - | Cajun Chicken Pasta | 16 oz linguine pasta 1/2 t basil 4 skinless, boneless breasts 1/2 t lemon pepper 4 t Cajun seasoning 1/2 t salt 4 T butter 1/2 t garlic powder 2 c half and half 1/4 t black pepper 1/2 c Parmesan cheese | Time: 30 minutes Serves: 4 | Cook pasta. Cut chicken into small pieces. Place chicken and Cajun seasoning in bag. Shake to coat. Melt butter in large skillet and sautÃe chicken 5-7 minutes. Reduce heat. Add cream and seasonings. Heat through. Add to drained pasta. toss and heat through. Cooling will thicken. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Goes great with Cheddar Bay Biscuits (pg. 17).

41: - 61 - | Chicken & Noodles | 7 c chicken broth 8 oz Omish Noodles 2 spoonfuls chicken base 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked, shredded Bring broth to boil then add noodles. Bring to a boil again. Cover and let simmer untill soft (10-30 min depending on noodle size). Add chicken and heat through. Serve over mashed potatoes. Goes great with Butterhorns (pg. 16). | Time: 30 minutes Serves: 4

70: - 62 - | Banana Pudding | 1 can Eagle Brand milk 1 1/2 c cold water 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding 2 c cool whip 3 medium bananas, sliced vanilla wafers In large bowl, combine milk and water. Add pudding mix. Beat well. Chill 5 minutes. Fold in cool whip. Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2 1/2 quart glass serving bowl. Top with 1/3 each of wafers, bananas, pudding. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate several hours to soften cookies before serving.

71: - 63 - | Better Than Sex Cake | 1 box devil's food cake mix 14 oz Eagle Brand milk 1 pkg Caramels 4 Heath bars, crushed Cool Whip, thawed Bake cake according to package directions but use only 1/2 the oil the recipe calls for. Remove cake from the oven and poke 15-20 holes about 3/4 of the depth of the cake all over with handle of wooden spoon. In bowl combine milk and caramels. Microwave until melted. Mix well. Pour over top of warm cake, letting it sink into the holes. Sprinkle crushed Heath bars saving some for top of the cake. Let cake cool completely, then top with cool whip. Top with Heath bar and swirls of caramel and chocolate topping. Refrigerate 20 minutes and serve.

72: - 62 - | Butterscotch Pie

73: - 63 - | Cake Pops | 1 box cake mix, any 1 can frosting, any 1 pkg chocolate bark, any 1 bag lollipop sticks Prepare cake according to directions. Allow to cool completely. Once cooled, place sections of cake into large bowl. Use forks to crumble. Use forks to work icing into cake. Keep working until icing is no longer visible. Roll mixture into balls. Put in freezer for an hour. When nice and firm, insert stick into each ball. Melt chocolate. Coat well with chocolate. Now decorate and get creative! | Time: 2 hours 30 minutes | Yields: 36

74: - 62 - | Caramel Corn | 1 c popcorn kernels, popped, unsalted 2 sticks butter 2 c packed light brown sugar 1 t salt 1/2 c light Karo syrup 1 t vanilla 1 t baking soda Divide popcorn between2 large cookie sheets. In large saucepan, melt butter. Add sugar, salt, syrup, vanilla. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add baking soda. Quickly stir in as syrup will rise! Pour over both pans of popped corn. Stir well to coat corn. Bake at 200 for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes with wooden spoons. Tastes best the next day! | Time: 1 hour 10 minutes | Yields: 8 quarts

75: - 63 - | Chocolate Chip Cookies | Time: 40 minutes | Yields: 40 | 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 sticks butter, softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 large eggs 12 oz pkg Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels Combine flour, baking soda, salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, beating well after each one. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes. Move to wire racks to cool completely.

76: - 62 - | Cinnamon Streusel Bundt Cake | 1 box yellow cake mix 1 box instant vanilla pudding 3/4 c oil 3/4 c water 3 eggs 1 t vanilla 1 t butter flavoring (optional) 1/3 c sugar 2 t cinnamon Mix cake mix, oil, pudding, water. Add eggs and beat well at high speed for 5 minutes. Add vanilla and favoring. Grease pan with butter Mix in separate bowl, sugar, cinnamon. but half this mixture on bottom of bunt pan. then add half the batter and repeat. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. | Time: 1 hour | Serves: 10

77: - 63 - | Confetti Cookies | 1 package funfetti cake mix 1/2 c butter, softened 1 egg funfetti frosting - optional Preheat oven to 350. Thoroughly combine cake mix, butter, egg. Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, two inches apart. Bake in middle of oven for 9-12 minutes, till edges are lightly golden. Cool cookies on pan for 2 minutes, then place on wire racks to cool. Frost warm cookies. | TIme: 15 Minutes | Yield: 24

78: - 62 - | Cream Puffs | 1 c boiling water 1 stick butter 1/4 t salt 1 c flour 4 lg eggs 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding 1 tub cool whip boil water and butter. Add salt and flour all at once. stir smooth and cook till paste comes away from sides of pan. remove from heat. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Drop on greased backing sheet. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes. When cooled, slice top off each and scoop out soft dough. Fill with pudding and cool whip mixed together. Replace tops and sprinkle with powdered sugar. | TIme: 1 hour | Yield: 12

79: - 63 - | Dirt Pudding | 3 1/2 c Milk 1 pkg chocolate instant pudding 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding 1 tub Cool Whip, thawed 1 pkg Oreos, crushed gummy worms Make pudding as directed on package using milk. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in whipped topping and half of the crushed cookies. Spoon into dish adding gummy worms. Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies. Refrigerate 1 hour. | Time: 1 hour | Serves: 12

80: - 62 - | Dutch Apple Pie | 2 c flour 1 c packed brown sugar 3/4 c butter, melted 1/2 c quick cooling oats 2/3 c sugar 3 T cornstarch 1 1/4 c water 21 oz can apple filling 1 t vanilla Combine flour, brown sugar, butter, oats. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press remaining crump mixture into ungreased pie plate. Set aside. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water in saucepan till smooth. bring to a boil. Spoon 1/2 of the hot fudge on top of the sandwiches. Spread 1/2 of the whipped cream on top of the fudge. Place remaining 12 ice cream sandwiches. 90: - 62 - | Resurrection Rolls | 1 can refrigerated large dinner rolls large marshmallows butter cinnamon sugar Preheat oven to 375. Separate rolls and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Butter each roll. Place marshmallow in center of dough. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over marshmallow. Carefully wrap dough around marshmallow. Seal tightly!
