2: Erika's Pineapple Chicken Salad 1 lb. cooked chicken breasts or strips 1 jar of pineapple salsa 16 oz. 1 medium red onion mayo to taste Directions: 1. Chop chicken into desired size. 2. Cook chicken in a skillet until almost done. 3. Add half of the salsa jar (1 cup) and conitune cooking until salsa starts to look bad. 4. Allow chicken and salsa to cool. Meanwhile, chop red onion. 5. When mixture is cool, add onion, the rest of the salsa and mayo to desired texture and taste. 6. Serve right away or chill.
3: ( | Katie's Chicken Fried Rice 1 package of Hamburger Helper Fried Rice meals Follow package directions!! Katie's Favorite Meal 1 package of Kraft Mac n Cheese 1 pound ground beef 1 small package of Velveeta cheese Make mac n cheese according to directions. Brown ground meat in skillet and drain. Add ground meat to macaroni noodles - stir in other ingredients according to package directions. Cut up cubes of Velveeta, place in bowl with small amount of milk. Microwave to melt cheese - stir to mix and add to mac n cheese and ground meat mixture. Stir well and heat till blended.
4: GRACE’S BEAN CASSEROLE This comes from my mom It’s great to take to picnics in a crockpot (All these cans are 16oz) 1 C. vinegar 4 cans of butter beans2 tsp dry mustard 2 cans lima beans 1 lb bacon 2 cans kidney beans4 onions in rings 2 cans baked beans1 - C. brown sugar 2 tsp salt Fry cut up bacon - remove all but 4 Tbl Fat Add onions, sugar, vinegar and seasonings and simmer for 20 minutes Add to beans in 6 Qt casserole Bake at 350 degrees for 1- hours | Marianna Lupi

6: BBQ Ribs 2 racks of baby back ribs/or beef ribs 1 bottle of BBQ sauce salt pepper garlic salt Boil ribs in tall pot for 1 hr. Pull ribs out and flip over. Make x marks with a knife (on back side). Preheat over 300 degrees. Place ribs on baking sheets. Slather in BBQ sauce and spread spices. Cover w/ foil and bake for 2 hrs. Check half way. xoxox Destiny
7: Turkey Quesadillas 1lb of shredded Turkey meat (deli or leftover) 1lb of shredded Cheese of a large Vidalia onion (chopped) sprinkle of garlic powder pepper 1 package of Garlic Tortillas 1 Tbs of Canola or Olive oil In a big skillet turn heat to medium, combine Canola or Olive oil and onions cook till they are almost clear. Add Turkey, garlic powder and pepper. After that is heated, turn heat down to simmer, remove mix from skillet, drain and put in a bowl to the side. Take a tortilla and put it in the skillet you just removed all the other ingredients ( there should still be enough oil in the skillet to heat your tortillas). Add some cheese & quesadilla mixture on of the tortilla. Cook for about a minute, then turn over the empty side to cover mix side until tortilla is slightly crispy. Add sour cream, tomatoes, and guacamole on the side. Xoxox Destiny & Joseph

When cooking, go by your own taste." ~Laiko Bahrs | Veggie Pizza 2 cans refrigerated cresent rolls 1 cup mayo 1 pack Hidden Valley dip/dressing mix Veggies of choice (green, red, yellow, or orange peppers; broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, etc) | Open rolls and lay out in form of a rectangle, press edges together - bake according to package directions or till golden brown. Let cool. Mix mayo and dry package Hidden Valley together. Spread over cooled rolls. Chop veggies together into small pieces and spread over may mix - press veggies into mixture and then more spread over the top. Cut into 1-2 inch pieces. XXOO MOM
9: Dried Beef Dip Ingredients: 1 8oz package of cream cheese 1/4 lb chipped dried beef 1 tsp mayo 1 tsp soy sauce Directions: 1. Mix all together and serve on crackers Dorothy Dickson | Peanut Butter Candy Rolls | 3 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla 2 boxes confectioners sugar 12 oz skippy peanut butter beat egg whites, add vanilla and sugar gradually. Roll out on wax paper. Fill with peanut butter. Roll up into roll. Cut into 1 inch pieces. Great Grandma Stephens
10: Ricotta Pie 1 large container ricotta 2 ready made graham cracker crusts 2 eggs 1 cup sugar pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla canned pineapple/cherries Mix eggs, sugar, and salt until thick. Mix in ricotta and vanilla. Put in shells. Bake until firm. Put pineapple and cherries on top. Sabrina
11: Shortbread Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tblsp corn starch 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 lb butter (softened at room temp) Put 2 cups flour, corn starch, and sugar on table. Mix with hands. Work in butter. Gradually add balance of flour. Put into pan, punch with fork. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes. Cut as soon as you take out of oven. Aunt Mary
12: Golfer's Chicken Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts small jar of apricot preserves 1 envelope of dried onion soup mix 1/2 cup russian dressing white rice Directions: 1. Mix preserves, soup mix and dressing. 2. Place chicken in pyrex dish (the closer the chicken is together the better) 3. Pour 2Tblsp of mixture onto each chicken breast. (save rest for rice) 4. Bake at 325 for 1 hr and eat with white or brown rice XXOO Jackay
13: Chocolate Eclair Icebox Dessert | 1- 14oz box honey graham crackers (approx 22 1/2 sheets) 1 -8 oz tub cream cheese 2- 3.4 oz packages vanilla instant pudding 1- 8 oz tub whipped topping 3 1/4 cup milk 2 tblsp stick butter softened 2 tblsp honey 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate melted 1 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar Arrange 7 1/2 cracker sheets in bottom of 13x9 inch baking dish. Mix 3 cups milk, pudding, and cream cheese in bowl. Beat low speed of mixer 1 min or until thick. Fold in whipped topping. Spread half of pudding mixture over crackers. Top with 7 1/2 graham crackers. Repeat procedure. Combine 1/4 cup milk, butter, honey, and chocolate in bowl and beat well. add powdered sugar to chocolate mixture. Spread chocolate glaze over crackers. Cover dessert. Chill 4 hours Tina
14: PEANUT BLOSSOMS PB cookies with Hershey Kiss in center) Sift Together: 1 Cup Sifted Flour 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1;2 Teaspoon Salt Cream together: cup butter 1/3 cup peanut butter cup sugar-add to butter mixture cup firmly pack brown sugar Add to above mixture and beat well: 1 Unbeaten Egg 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Blend the dry ingredients and mix well. Shape dough into balls. Roll balls in sugar and Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove and press a Hershey Kiss in center of ball. Bake additional 3-5 minutes.
15: BLACK BOTTOMS Filling 1- 8oz. Package Cream Cheese 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 egg 1 -6oz. Package Chocolate Chips Pinch of Salt Cream together cream cheese,sugar and egg until blended. Add choc chips and salt. Fold in and mix well. Dry Ingredients - Sift Together 1 1/2 Cup of Flour 1 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Cocoa 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 Teaspoon Salt Add to the dry ingredients: 1 Cup Water 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1/2 Cup Oil 1 Teaspoon Vinegar Mix until well blended. Fill tassie cups 1/2 full with cream cheese mixture. In center, place a teaspoon of chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. | Grandma's Recipes
16: Broccoli Casserole 2 boxes chopped broccoli Cook and reserve water 1 stick of Oleo lb Velveeta cheese 1 pack of Ritz crackers crushed Layer broccoli in baking dish melt cheese with broccoli Water and spread over broccoli cover with cracker crumbs Spread melted Oleo Bake 350 degrees for 30 mins Peggy Martin
17: Beef Burgundy | Round steak 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 can mushrooms 1 package lipton onion soup 2/3 cup burgundy wine Brown meat well. Add rest of ingredients and cook 3 hrs on very low flame. Diane Peirce (Ft. Riley 1981)
18: Crock Pot Lasagna 1 Box of uncooked lasagna noodles 2 Jars of spaghetti sauce 2 packages of shredded Mozzarella cheese lb of Pepperoni chopped large Vidalia onion 1lb ground meat 1 large tub of ricotta cheese or small curd cottage cheese 2 cloves crushed garlic Cook ground meat, onion and garlic till done. While doing this, turn crock pot on to medium and cover bottom of crock pot with some spaghetti sauce. Strain meat mixture. Start to layer your ingredients. Lay uncooked pasta first (yes uncooked pasta ). Add ricotta, it’s ok if it is a bit clumped on. Then add a layer of pepperoni, spaghetti sauce mix, and mozzarella. Lay another layer of uncooked pasta ( you may have to break pieces to fit the edges). Continue to layer until pot is full. For the last layer of cheese add a little bit. Cook for 5hrs on med. Add last of the mozzarella cheese and turn setting on pot to serve. Scoop out with spoon. Enjoy! Destiny

Hellman’s Mayo Dash of – Onion salt & Garlic salt Mix together, chill at least 1 hour Serve with crackers (recommend Chicken in a Biscuit Crackers) Judy Bowlus | Cream Cheese Log 1 – 8 oz. 20: Rice Broccoli Casserole Ingredients: 1 cup cooked rice 1/2 cup onion chopped 1/2 cup celery chopped 1 stick butter 1 can mushroom soup 1/2 can of water 1 package cooked broccoli 1 small jar of sliced mushrooms 6 slices velveeta cheese Saute onion and celery in butter. Add soup, water, and mushrooms. Stir well. Add rice and broccoli. Pour into 9x13 baking dish. Layer cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes Debbie Krumenaker
21: Spanish Rice 1/4 cup veg oil 1 medium onion sliced 1 medium green pepper chopped 1/2 lb ground meat 1 tsp mustard 1 cup reg rice uncooked 2-8oz cans tomato sauce 1 and 3/4 cans hot water 1 tsp salt dash of pepper Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and ground meat. Cook until it has lost the red color. Add salt and pepper and rice. Stir over high heat until lightly brown. Add sauce and water. Bring to a boil. 22: Pulled Pork Sandwiches 1 3-4lb Pork butt roast 1 bottle of any BBQ sauce 1 small chopped Vidalia onion (optional) kaiser rolls Put all of the ingredients in a crock pot on med. for 5 hrs. Pork should separate easily in pot. Shred and leave in pot to add on buns. mmmmmmm xoxo Destiny
23: Ham Whole or 1/2 bone in Ham 2 cups pancake syrup 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 apple chopped 1/2 bag of baby carrots 1 large turkey cooking bag Preheat oven to 350. Remove extra rack in oven and have only one rack on the bottom. Prepare cooking bag as directed. Take ham out of the plastic wrap and place in the cooking bag. Set in a Large baking pan. Add carrots and apple around sides of ham in the bag. Pour syrup on top(guesstimate 2 cups and just squeeze from bottle). Add brown sugar. Close bag and cook 15 mins per pound. 24: Chicken Tetrazzini | 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup whipping cream 2 tblsp white wine or sherry 1-13oz can mushrooms 7 oz cooked spaghetti 2 cups cubed chicken Heat oven to 350. Melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook , stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in broth and cream. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. 28: Jambalaya: 3 cups water 2 cups rice 1 minced onion meat of your choice 1 small can tomato sauce 1 tbsp oil 1 minced bell pepper salt and pepper Brown meat in oil. Saute onion and bell pepper with meat. Add tomato sauce and water and bring to a boil. Add rive and bring to a boil. Turn fire on low, stir, cover with lid and cook for 25 minutes. 29: Grillades: veal rounds 5 tbsp bacon drippings 3 tbsp flour 1 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 1/2 cups bell peppers 2 cups tomatoes sauce 2 cups beef broth 1 tbsp worcester 1 small bay leaf 1/2 tsp. thyme salt and pepper Brown meat in beacon drippings (or oil). Remove to a platter. Add flour to drippings and stir until a rich brown. Add onions and bell peppers and saute until transparent. Add meat and all remaining ingredients. 31: Pappy's Gravy | 2-3 Packages of Gravy Mix Mushrooms Follow directions on gravy mix, add mushrooms. Cook slowly and stir often until thickened. Try it - I know he will be watching over you to make sure you do it right! Pappy's Surprize Meal Start with a base of something like fettucini noodles and a sauce and then add anything you want or anythinhg that is left over in the fridge. How about fettucini with meatballs, broccoli, mushrooms and pepperoni!!! (smile)
32: Chocolate chip cheese ball 1 - 8oz cream cheese 1 stick butter 1/4 tsp vanilla 3/4 cup powered sugar 2 tbsp brown sugar 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips 3/4 cup pecans (optional) or extra mini chocolate chips cream together cream cheese, vanilla and butter. mix in sugars stir in chocolate chips. refrigerate for 2 hours. roll into a ball and roll over pecans. serve with graham crackers or vanilla wafers. 33: Classic Chicken Pot Pie 1 box Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box 1/3 cup butter or margarine 1/3 cup chopped onion 1/3 cup all-purpose flour teaspoon salt teaspoon pepper 1 cups Progresso® chicken broth (from 32-oz carton) cup milk 2 cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey 2 cups Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers frozen mixed vegetables, thawed Put pie crust in pie pan. Melt butter and saute onion, then add flour, salt, pepper. Stir in broth and milk. Add chicken and vegetables. Put pie crust on top of pie. Make slits in top. Bake approximately 35 minutes on 400 or until crust is golden. Marianna
34: Dump Cake 1 can of cherry pie filling 1 can of crushed pineapple 1 box of white cake 1 stick of melted butter Put cherry and pineapple in 9x12 baking pan. Sprinkle contents of dry cake mixture on top. Pour butter evenly on top of cake mix. Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until golden brown. 35: Homey fries 5 Idaho potatoes 2 Tbs butter 2 Tbs canola or olive oil 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp garlic salt lil pepper 1/2 sweet onion chopped (optional) Poke holes in the potatoes w/ a fork and microwave for 5 mins. Flip and microwave for another 3 mins. Turn skillet on low w/ butter and oil. Cut potatoes.Turn up skillet to med. and add potatoes. Add onion. Cook for 5 mins w/ lid on turning occasionally. Add spices. Keep turning until golden brown. xoxox Destiny
36: Pepperoni Pizza Dip 1/2 cup sour cream 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 cup pizza sauce 2 ounces (1/2 cup) chopped pepperoni 1/4 cup sliced green onions 1/2 cup (2 ounces) mozzarella cheese, shredded Corn chips or crisp breadsticks Heat oven to 350F. In small bowl beat sour cream, cream cheese and Italian seasoning on medium , scraping bowl often, until smooth . Spread into 9-inch quiche or pie pan. Spread with pizza sauce. Top with pepperoni and green onions. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or heated through. Top with cheese. Bake 4 to 5 min or cheese is melted. Serve with corn chips. Substitute 1/4 teaspoon each dried basil leaves, dried marjoram leaves, dried oregano leaves and 1/8 teaspoon sage. Marianna Lupi Makes 12 servings
37: Beer Bread 1 (12 oz) can or bottle beer 3 cups self-rising flour 1/3 cup white sugar 1/4 to 1/2 cup melted butter In large bowl mix together sugar and flour. Add beer and keep mixing, first with a wooden spoon and then your hands. (batter will be sticky) Pour mixture into 9x5 inch greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes. The top will be crunchy and inside soft. (For extra crunch bake in a 9x13 pan and drizzle butter over entire top before baking) Jackie | LOVE
38: SHRIMP ALA BOB | 1 large sweet red pepper sliced 1 large sweet yellow pepper sliced 1 large onion slivered 1 1b. of shrimp..jumbo preferably, frozen or fresh..either works great! CLEAN THEM!! lb of your favorite sausage..sweet, hot, regular..it only matters what YOU like Garlic in any form. Pasta something “forkable” like Rotini & Pipette Parmesan cheese A little bit of butter Olive Oil Place the peppers & onion in a steamer and let them go few minutes. You still want them to have crunch, add the shrimp.they get done real fast. Add sausage, either make little meatballs or just scoop up some chunks and brown .Remember to make the PASTA!! Drain sausage but save the fat for flavor. In the SAME pan add a little olive oil and some garlic and sauté. Don’t BURN it. Add the sausage, shrimp & peppers together. Drain the pasta. On the bottom of the pasta pot, add some butter. Mix the pasta, peppers, shrimp & sausage. Make sure this is still real hot. Mix in Parmesan cheese. The colors are beautiful..enjoy! HOLD IT DON”T forget to add Fresh Basil and a dash or two of dried red pepper, NOW EAT!! Debbie Watt
39: Ham & scalloped potatoes 3 cups cubed cooked ham 5 cups thinly sliced potatoes (mandolin) 1 1/2 cup milk 1/8 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp dry mustard 1/2 tsp salt 3 Tblsp flour 1/4 cup chopped onion 3 Tblsp butter Place butter in 12x8 dish. Microwave until melted. Stir in onion, flour, salt, dry mustard, and pepper. Then blend in milk. Microwave for 5 to 7 minutes or until thick. Stir every 2 minutes. Mix in ham and potatoes. Stir and coat with sauce. Cover with wax paper and cook on high 17 to 22 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir every 5 minutes. Jackie
40: Chocolate Cake Pudding Ingredients for cake: 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup sifted all purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 tblsp cocoa 1/2 cup milk 3 tblsp melted butter,cooled 1tsp vanilla Ingredients for topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1 1/2 cups water Sift sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, and cocoa together into a 9 inch square baking pan. Stir in milk, butter, and vanilla. Spread batter in pan. Mix topping sugars and cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour water over all. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until top springs back when touched. 41: Glazed Meatballs | 1 Lb ground meat 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/3 cup minced onion 1.4 cup milk 1 egg 1 tblsp parsley 1 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup oil 1 -15 oz bottle chili sauce 1- 10 oz jar grape jelly Mix ground meat, crumbs, onion, milk, egg, and seasonings. Roll into 1 inch balls. Brown meatballs in oil. Drain off fat. Heat chili sauce and jelly in separate saucepan until jelly is melted. Add meatballs and stir until coated. 42: Easy Quiche 6 eggs- separated 3 slices of bread (torn into small pieces) 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1 cup of favorite veggies 1 cup of favorite meat 1/2 cup of cheese (shredded) 1/2 tsp of pepper Combine yolks of the separated eggs, bread, seasonings, cheese and mix well. In a separate bowl beat egg whites till firm (2 mins by hand or use a electric hand mixer). Gently fold egg whites into the yolk mix.
43: Pour half of the mix into a round deep pie pan or casserole dish. Add whatever meat or veggies or both. Pour rest of mix on top. Bake 350 degrees for 30 mins. Check with toothpick in the middle to make sure it's done (not sticking to toothpick). xoxo Destiny
