2: Salmon Spread 1 can salmon 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened 1 tsp dill weed 1 T lemon juice (or more to taste) 2 T minced onion or chives 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or more) 1/2 tsp Worchester sauce I add a few dashes smoke liquid for added flavor. Let mixture set several hours to blend flavors. | Ramake' Cut bacon strips into 3rds and wrap each strip around a water chestnut. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hr in deep dish Boil 1 cup ketchup and 11/2 cup sugar. Put chestnuts in serving dish or pan and pour in sauce. | From Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens

3: Oriental Cabbage Salad From:Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens Thinly cut 1 head or cabbage and 4 green onions (or whatever quantity that you wish.) Add desired amount of: sliced almonds, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds.These may be toasted. (I do not put in sesame seeds) Add Top Ramen noodles that have been broken up Salad Dressing: 1 T sugar 1 T Accent (if desire) 1/2 tsp pepper 3 tsp rice vinegar 1/2 cup oil Dry chicken dressing from Top Ramen

4: 1 lg cabbage cut up into bite size pieces 6 green onions 1 pkg chicken top ramen, crush the noodles and fry in 2 tbsp butter till golden brown Use 1/2 the Chicken Top Ramen seasoning over the cooked noodles, the other 1/2 over the entire salad Almond Slivers 1/8 cup Chopped Chicken - as much as you want The Oriental Chicken Salad Dressing made by Girards If I remember, I add mandarin oranges Fry up the Chicken Top Ramen, let it cool, then add the rest of the ingredients Do not add the salad dressing until ready to eat. | Chinese Chicken Salad From:Auntie Toni

5: Mexican Chopped Chicken Salad From:Auntie Toni 6 cups Shredded lettuce 1 bag (3 cups) tortilla chips, crushed 2 cups cubed cooked chicken 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup Ranch dressing 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Tomatoes and olives, for garnish Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Serves 6.

6: Strawberry Cream Squares (Grandpa White's Favorite Salad) From: Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens 2 pkg strawberry jello 2 large bananas 2 cup boiling water 2-10 oz frozen strawberries 1 13 oz can crushed pineapple 1 cup sour cream Dissolve gelatin in water. Add berries, stirring until thawed. Add pineapple and bananas. Pour 1/2 of mixture into 8" x 8" pan. Chill until firm. Pour remaining jello over sour cream and chill. This may be cut into squares and placed on lettuce leaves or just use a spoon in the dish.

7: Jimmy Dean Quiche From: Auntie Barbara | Bake 2 pie crusts Cook and drain; 2 JD "hot" sausage 1 JD "mild" sausage 1 cup of onion 1 green pepper Add; 4 eggs (I do 8-10 eggs) 2 Tbsp flour 2 Tbsp parsley 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic salt or add fresh garlic 1/2 tsp pepper 2 c. half&half Mix and pour into cooked pie crust, sprinkle w/ 1 cup cheddar cheese and bake at 350 for 30-35 min.

8: Stuffing From: Paula Ruggiero 2 Large onions 3-4 garlic cloves 1lbs. hamburger or ground sausage 2 eggs 2 boxes frozen spinach 1 pkg. Mrs. Wrights stuffing 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese 2 cans chopped olives 1 8oz. Can chicken broth Salt Pepper Poultry seasoning Italian seasoning Brown hamburger/sausage. Add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are soft. Cook spinach in microwave; drain well. Mix spinach with hamburger/sausage, onions and garlic. Add 2 eggs, stuffing, parmesan cheese, olives broth and all seasonings. Stuff turkey or cook in covered casserole dish for 30-45 min.

9: Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs | Meatballs (above) 1T soy sauce cup packed brown sugar 1T cornstarch 1 can (13 ) pineapple chunks 1/3 cup vinegar Cook meatballs in skillet, remove and drain fat from the skillet. Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in skillet. Stir in pineapple (with syrup), vinegar and soy sauce. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; reduce heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. I double this recipe for sweet and sour chicken wings. Bake chicken wing parts until well done. Prepare sauce and add chicken wings. I have put these in the crock pot on low to keep warm. | Meatballs From: The Walkers 1 pound hamburger cup dry bread crumbs cup milk 2 T finely chopped onion 1 tsp salt tspWorcestershire sauce 1 egg Mix ingredients; shape into twenty 1 inch balls. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until brown, about 20 min. Cook at 400 degrees

10: Grilled Flank steak From: Paula Ruggiero 1 lbs. flank steak 1/2c firmly packed brown sugar 1/2c vegetable oil 1/2 c soy sauce 1/4c dry red wine 1tbsp minced garlic 1bsp minced fresh ginger Make sure shallow cuts in steak diagonally across the grain at 1-inch intervals. Place steak in a shallow dish or heavy-duty zip lock plastic bag. Combine brown sugar and remaining 5 ingredients; pour over steak. Cover dish or seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours, turning meat occasionally. Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade. Place marinade in a small saucepan bring to a boil and remove from heat. Grill steak over medium coals for 5 min or cook in broiler oven basting with marinade. Can make with or without marinade.

11: Country Ribs in Beer From: Grandma & Grandpa Raeta Ingredients: 6-8 large boneless country style ribs Salt and pepper 1 large onion 3-4 cloves of garlic chopped cup barbecue sauce (MR Stubbs spicy sauce & Mr Stubbs hickory favored smoke) cup beer Directions: Remove any large areas of fat from meat and salt and pepper both sides. Chop onions and spread over bottom of slow cooker. Put meat on onions. Mix beer and BBQ sauce, pour over meat, cover and cook on HIGH; 4-5 hours, on low: 8-10 hours. To server, lift meat and onions out with spatula. Pour liquid into a narrow jar or glass, let stand 1-2 min, and spoon off the fat that rises to the top. Pour sauce over meat.

12: Italian Zucchini Pie From:Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens 4 cups thinly slice unpeeled zucchini 1 cup chopped onion 1/4-1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup parsley - chopped 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp basil leaves 1/4 tsp oregano leaves 2 eggs well beaten 2 cups mozzarella cheese 8 oz Pillsbury ref. Quick Crescent dinner rolls 2 tsp mustard Heat oven to 375 degrees. In 10" skillet, cook zucchini and onion in margarine until tender-about 10 min. Stir in parsley and seasonings. In large bowl, blend eggs & cheese. Stir in vegetable mixture. Separate dough in 8 triangles. Place in greased 11"quiche pan, 10" pie pan or 9" x 13" baking dish. Press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Spread crust evenly with mustard. Pour vegetable mixture evenly into crust. Bake for 18 to 20 min or until knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand 10 min before serving.

13: Name | Chicken Enchiladas From: The Walkers | 1sm chicken 1 cup light sour cream 2 can healthy request cream of chicken soup 1small can chopped green chilies 12 tortillas Grated cheese Boil chicken. Take chicken off bones into small pieces. Combine chicken, cream of chicken, sour cream, and chilies over medium heat until warm. Spoon chicken into tortillas and spread cheese inside and out. Bake 325 covered for 20-30 min

15: 3 cups water 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 lb dried white beans 2 cups mashed potatoes 1 can tomato sauce 2 med. carrots, sliced 1 large onion 2 med stalks celery,sliced 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 T instant beef bouillon Any amount of ham that you have on hand--either leftover or 2 1/4 smoked ham hocks. Heat water and beans to boiling in large pot. Boil 2 min. Remove from heat; cover & let stand 1 hr. Add tomato sauce, pork, onion, bouillon, salt, pepper & garlic to beans. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat. Cover & simmer until beans are tender--about 2 hrs. Do not boil.-- beans will burst. Skim fat. Cut pork into 1/2" pieces. Stir pork, potatoes, carrots & celery into soup. 16: Chicken and Tiny Biscuits From: The Walkers | 1 small whole chicken 3T butter flour 2 cup chicken broth cup milk Salt and pepper Boil chicken until done. Take chicken off the bones. Put into a 8x12 baking dish. Melt butter in pan and stir in flour gradually add in broth then milk. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Pour over chicken and bake 25-30 min at 400 degrees

17: Spicy Seafood Stew From: Grandma & Grandpa Raeta 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced 1 lbs carrots, sliced 1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce 2 jars (6 ounces each) sliced mushrooms, drained 1-1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric 1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups water 1lbs sea scallops 1 lbs uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined In a 5-t. slow cooker, combine the first eight ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 4-12 to 5 hours or until potatoes and tender. Stir in the water, scallops and shrimp cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until scallops are opaque and shrimp turn pink.

18: 3/4lbs raw large prawns (shelled and deveined) 6t. butter or margarine 1t olive oil 6t minced green onions 4-5 cloves garlic 2t lemon juice t salt 2t parsley grated lemon peel Dash of tobacco | Pat prawns dry on paper towel. Melt butter. Stir in onions and oil, garlic lemon juice and salt. Cook until bubbly. Add prawns and cook. Stirring occasionally until prawns turn pink (about 4-5 minutes). 19: The Walkers | Taco Soup | 1 pound hamburger 1 cup onion 1 16oz tomatoes w/ liquid 1 16oz corn w/ liquid 1 16oz kidney beans w/ liquid 1 8oz tomato sauce 1 pkg taco seasoning | Brown hamburger and add everything into pan. Boil, cover and simmer for 15 minutes and garnish with cheese and chips. (I usually double this recipe, it makes great leftovers!)

20: Tijuana Turkey Burgers From:Auntie Toni 1 (20 oz) pkg ground turkey 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese 1/4 cup chipotle salsa or any salsa 1 tsp Mexican seasoning 4 hamburger buns 1 red bell pepper cut into strips 1/4 cup guacamole Mix together turkey, cheese, salsa and Mexican seasoning until well combined. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into fairly flat patties. Grill over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with pepper strips and guacamole. I cook these on my griddle instead of BBQ, cause they can fall apart on BBQ.

Bake at 350 for one hour. You can put cheese at end of baking if you'd like. | 350 | 1 hr

22: Cirino’s Spaghetti Sauce From: Mark Cirino 1 lb lean Ground Beef 1 medium Yellow Onion 1 medium Bell Pepper 2-3 cloves Garlic, pressed 2 tsp Dried Basil 2 tsp Dried Oregano 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Pepper 1 can of Tomato Sauce 1 Can of Tomato Paste 1/2 cup Water 1/2 tsp Sugar Chop the Onion and Bell Pepper and set aside. Brown the Ground Beef in a large pan, breaking it up as it browns. Drain off the liquid and return to the stove. Add the Onion, Bell Pepper, Garlic, Basil, Oregano, Salt and Pepper and mixing it in. Add the Tomato Sauce, Tomato Paste, Water and Sugar. Stir thoroughly and bring just to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 90 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Cook your pasta according to the directions on the box and drain - DO NOT RINSE. Place a tablespoon or so of sauce into each bowl, then add some pasta and stir to coat. Then add sauce to the top and enjoy! Can be frozen for up to a couple of months and heated in the microwave.

23: Potato Casserole From Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens 6-9 potatoes (or frozen hash browns) 1/4 cup margarine 1 can cream chicken soup 1/3 cup chopped onion 1/2 pint or more sour cream Salt and Pepper 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Topping: Crushed cornflakes and 2 T melted margarine Cook, peel & shred potatoes. Heat butter & soup. Blend in onion, sour cream & cheese. Mix with shredded potatoes. Put in 9 x 13 or smaller baking dish. Top with buttered cornflakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min.

24: Round Steak Stroganoff From: The Walkers | 1 - 2 lbs round steak 1 clove garlic cup flour 4 cup beef broth 1 pint light sour cream 1tsp salt 1tsp pepper 2T chili sauce(opt.) 1 tsp paprika 8oz sliced mushrooms 1/3 cup margarine 1 cup diced onion Cut meat into thin strips. Combine flower, salt, pepper, paprika in a bag and shake meat strips in bag until well coated. Heat butter in heavy pan and brown meat strips well turning often. Add onions, and garlic I cook until golden brown stirring frequently. Add broth and chili sauce and stir well. Add mushroom cover and simmer until meat is tender 20-30 min. stir in sour cream and heat gently DO NOT BOIL. Serve over noodles.

25: Angel Hair Pasta with Creamy Garlic Prawns From: Rachelle & Jason 2 tbsp olive oil 16 raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 leek, chopped 6 garlic cloves, crushed 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes 1/2 cup dry white wine 7 fl oz whipping cream 9 oz angel hair pasta 3 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley 1. Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a frying pan, season the prawns with salt and pepper, add to the pan and cook over high heat for 2-3 min or until cooked through. Remove from pan, cover and keep warm. 2. Heat remaining oil in the same pan, add the leek and cook, stirring, over medium heat for 2-3 min, or until softened. Add garlic and chilli flakes and stir for 1 minute. Pour in wine, reduce heat and simmer for 4 min, or until reduced. Add cream and simmer for 3 min or until thickened. 3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in large saucepan of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well and return to the pan to keep warm. Stir in parsley into the sauce and season well. Add the sauce to the pasta and stir to coat. Add prawns.

26: Grandma & Grandpa Raeta | Shrimp & Panchetta | 16-20 size shrimp cleaned and deveined. Buy package panchetta slices not chopped. Wrap 1 piece around each shrimp. Melt -1 stick butter and chop 7-8 cloves of garlic and cover shrimp with butter mix. Broil 8 min approx till crispy turn shrimp. Put more butter mix on top and cook another 8 min approx.

27: Caper Chicken 4 boneless, chicken breast halves 1 tsp lemon pepper 1 tsp salt 1 tsp dried dill weed 1 tsp garlic powder 3 tbsp butter 1/2 cup whipping cream 2 tbsp capers,drained & rinsed 1.Season chicken breasts with lemon pepper, salt, dill weed, and garlic powder. 2.Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place breasts in skillet, and increase heat to medium-high. Turn chicken frequently, until brown, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium, and cook 5 to 7 minutes, until breasts are cooked through. Remove chicken to a warm serving platter, and cover with foil. 3.Return skillet to stove, and increase heat to high. Whisk in whipping cream, whisking continuously until reduced to sauce consistency, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in capers. Pour sauce over chicken, and serve.

28: Creamy Chicken & Dumpling Soup 3 c. shredded chicken 49.5 oz chicken broth 1 c. chopped carrots 1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped onion 2 (12oz) cans chicken gravy 1 tbsp herbes de provence 2/3 c. Bisquick Complete 6 tbsp water Combine chicken, broth, and veggies in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 10 min. Stir in gravy and herbs. Bring to a boil again. Stir together Bisquick & water and drop small chunks into soup. Cover and cook for 10 more minutes

29: Baked Penne & Peas From:Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens -1 pkg (16 oz) penne or pita pasta -1/2 cup packed fresh basil -2 T margarine leaves, chopped -1/2 large onion, chopped -1 garlic clove, chopped -1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes -1 can tomato sauce -1/4 tsp black pepper -1 1/2 T cornstarch -1/2 cup whipping cream -1 cup Parmesan cheese 1 bag (about 10 oz) frozen peas In 6 qt pot, heat salted water to boiling over high heat. Add pasta and cook as label directs, but just until al dente. Meanwhile, in 3 qt pan, melt margarine. Add garlic and cook 1 min, stirring. Add tomatoes, basil, pepper, and 1 tsp salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5 min., stirring occasionally. In cup, with wire whisk or fork, mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup milk until blended. Pour cornstarch mixture, cream, 1/2 Parmesan and remaining milk into tomato mixture; heat to boiling over medium- high heat. Boil 1 min or until sauce thickens, stirring often; set aside. Preheat over to 400 degrees. Place frozen peas in large colander and drain pasta over peas. Return pasta mixture to 6 qt pan. Stir sauce into pasta mixture until combined. Spoon pasta mixture into 9 x 13 baking dish or casserole. Sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan on top. Bake uncovered about 20 min. Makes 12 servings. *This may be prepared a day ahead, covered and refrigerated. When ready to bake, cook 35-40 min or until hot and bubbly, covering with foil if the top browns too quickly.

30: 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup 1 can water 3/4 cup uncooked reg long grain rice 2 cps frozen vegetables of choice 1/2 tsp of onion powder 4 skinless / boneless chicken breast halves 1/2 cup cheddar cheese Mix soup, water, rice, vegetables and onion powder in a 11x7 baking dish. Top w/ chicken. Season chicken if desired, cover. Bake at 375 for 45 min or until done, top w/ cheese. For a little spice add 1 cup salsa and 1/2 cup water instead of can of water | Campbell's Cheesy Chicken & Rice Casserole From: Nana

31: Oyakodon From: Rachelle & Jason 3 small yellow onions (sliced) 2 chicken breasts (cubed) 6 sliced green onions 6-8 eggs Memmi sauce Pour in 3/4 cup water and turn fondue pot to medium high. Add memmi sauce (I just go by smell) and sliced onions. Stir onions until almost tender and add chicken. Stir until chicken is fully cooked. In bowl scramble eggs and pour over chicken and onion. Let sit for about 2 minutes and then stir until egg is cooked. Serve over rice.

32: Chili Pasta Bake From: Auntie Toni | 1 lb penne pasta 1 lb ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 2 Tbsp chili powder 1 can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes 1 (14.5) can tomato sauce 1 cup salsa 1 can (7 oz) diced green chiles 2 cups shredded Mexican or Cheddar cheese Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Cook meat and onion in large skillet; drain. Add chili powder, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, salsa and chilies. Cook 5 minutes. Toss pasta and sauce. Spoon into 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Mark loves this dish and I make it the night before, so I can just put in the oven when I get home.

33: Orange-Rosemary Chicken From Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens | 1 T. margarine 2 tsp garlic 4 medium, boneless 1/2 tsp rosemary, crumbled chicken breasts 1/8 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt 1/4 cup orange marmalade 1 tsp cornstarch 1/2 cup orange juice 1/4 cup water In a nonstick 12" skillet, melt margarine over medium-high heat; add garlic. Add chicken and sprinkle tops with rosemary, pepper, and 1/2 tsp salt and cook 6 min. Turn chicken over; reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 8 min. In meantime, mix orange juice, marmalade, cornstarch and remaining 1/2 tsp, and water until blended. Transfer chicken to warm platter. In same skillet, add orange-juice mixture; heat sauce to boiling over medium- high heat. Cook, stirring constantly 1 minute. Spoon sauce over chicken. **Chicken breasts will cook more evenly and quickly, if they are flattened slightly to a uniform thickness.

34: Parker House Rolls From: Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens | 1 pkg yeast 2 T Crisco oil 1/4 cup water 2 T. sugar 1 cup scalded milk 1 tsp salt 3 1/2 cups flour Soften yeast in warm water. Combine milk, oil, sugar, salt. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast. Gradually stir in flour to form soft dough. Beat vigorously with spoon, add rest of flour, cover with damp cloth. Let rise in warm place till double (about 2 hrs). Turn out on lightly floured surface. Rolland cut. Let rise until double (about an hour). Bake 400 degrees about 15 min.

35: "When baking, follow directions. When cooking, go by your own taste." ~Laiko Bahrs | Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens | Biscuits | 2 cups flour 1/4 cup shortening 1 T baking powder 3/4 cup milk 1 tsp salt Measure flour, baking powder & salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Gradually add milk, stir until forms ball. Turn onto floured board, knead 8-10 times. Handle gently. Roll dough to 1/2 inch or more. Cut and bake on ungreased baking sheet in 450 degree oven 12-15 min. | 450 | 12-15 min

36: Zucchini Bread Mix together: -3 eggs -1 cup oil -2 cups sugar -1 tsp vanilla Add: -2 cups peeled and grated zucchini. Mix and add to egg mixture: -3 cups flour -1 tsp baking powder -1 tsp salt -1 tsp soda -2 tsp cinnamon -1/2 cup chopped nuts Bake 325 degrees 65-75 min. Small loaves for 55-65 min. | From:

37: Banana Bread | -2 1/2 cups flour -1 1/2 tsp soda -1 2/3 cups sugar -1 tsp salt -1 1/4 tsp baking powder -2/3 cup buttermilk (1 T lemon & milk to make 2/3) -1 1/4 cup (3 to 4) mashed bananas -2/3 cup melted margarine Mix dry ingredients. Mix and add to flour mixture: buttermilk,mashed bananas and melted margarine. Add desired amount of nuts. Pour into 2 small and 1 lrg loaf pan or 3 small - sprayed with pam Bake 30 to 45 min 350 degrees. | Grandma & Grandpa Gibbens

38: Layered Chocolate Dessert From: The Walkers 1st layer 1 cup flour cup soft margarine cup chopped walnuts cup sugar Mix will. Pat into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. 2nd layer 8oz soft cream cheese 1 cup powdered sugar 1 cup cool whip Mix and spread over cooled crust 3rd layer 1 sm pkg instant vanilla pudding 3 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla Prepare and cook according to pudding directions except use 3cups of milk. Spread over the second layer. Top with cool whip and sprinkle with nuts

39: Carmelitas From Grandma & Grandpa Gibbnes: | 32 light Kraft caramels 5 Tblsp. evaporated milk Melt slowly in double boiler. 1 cup quick oatmeal 1 cup flour 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 tsp soda 1/2 tsp salt Mix; pour 3/4 cup melted margarine over flour mixture. Mix. Press down half of crumb mixture quite thin in 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake for 10 min in 350 degree oven. Take out, pour caramel mixture evenly. Scatter 1 cup chopped walnuts, then 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Add remaining crumb mixture and press down firmly. Bake 15 minutes. Chill a few hours before cutting.

40: Apple Crunch 4 cup fresh fruit (apples, berries, etc.) 1 cup flour 3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup melted margarine 1 tsp cinnamon 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2 T cornstarch Mix above items until crumbly. Press 1/2 mixture in 9 x 9 pan. Place fresh fruit on crumb mixture. Combine in saucepan and bring to boil: sugar,water & cornstarch. Pour over fruit. Put on remaining crumbs & bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minute | From Grandma & Grandpa

41: Name | Walnut Butter Balls | 1 cup margarine 1 T vanilla 6 T sugar 2 c. finely chopped walnuts 2 cups flour Powdered sugar Cream butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour, then nuts (I use 1 cup nuts.) Shape into small balls. Bake 8-10 min at 400 degrees. Do not let get "brown" when baking. After cool, roll in powdered sugar. | Grandma Sinclair's Molasses Cookies 4 cups flour 1 tsp ginger 2 tsp cinnamon 3 tsp soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup shortening 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1/2 cup molasses Bake 375 degrees | Gibbens

42: Snickerdoodles 1 c. shortening 2 tsp. cream of tarter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 2 3/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs Heat oven to 400 degrees, mix shortening, sugar, eggs. Measure flour and blend w/dry ingredients; Stir in. Roll into small balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min. Makes about 5 dozen 2: cookies.

43: Paula’s Irish Cream From: Paula Ruggiero 14-15oz. Irish or Scotch Whiskey (I use scotch) 14oz. evaporated milk 12oz. Borden‘s condensed sweetened milk 6 eggs 1tbs. cocoa 12 drops vanilla extract Drop all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Store in refrigerator (w/lid) for 24 hours before serving | Blue Lagoon From: Rachelle & Jason 1 Shot Vodka 1 Shot Blue Curacao 4 Shots Sparkling Lemonade Add ingredients in order over ice. May add cherry for garnish.
