14: Dear Journal', I have come across a very interesting idea. I was walking around when i noticed my stomach groaning and grumbling for food. I stopped at this lovely little eatery I had noticed a few days ago. It had a peculiar set up, the food and such being made in a fashion that reminded me of an assembly line. I asked a worker if i could speak to the owner, and the men Richard and Maurice McDonald came to see me with pleasant smiles on their faces. We made small talk for awhile, the whole time a plan was almost perfectly brewing in my head. I obviously want to work with these men. I am planning to make them an offer to set up a chain of restaurants using their last name to name the restaurants. Cross my fingers for good luck, i'll be needing it. Ray Kroc
15: Dear Mr. Kroc, I am Alexis Herrera and i've been wondering about a few things since i started researching you. firstly: What went through your mind when the McDonald brothers agreed to work with you? Secondly: Why did you have so many jobs in your lifetime? Thirdly: Do you consider yourself a risk taker? Fourthly: What was your wife's maiden name? I know these questions will never be answered but i still wonder them. Well, thanks for reading...if you can see this letter in any way. Thanks, Alexis Herrera
