BC: I was born in Park Ridge, IL in 1997. I lived there for seven years, then moved to Austin, TX. I have one sister and awesome puppy named Maya. We got her two summers ago. I like to play lacrosse and soccer.

3: Basketball History | Dr. James Naismith invented basketball in 1891, in Springfield, MA. He invented it mostly for skill and not strength. He also made it to be played indoors in a small places.

4: Daniel "Colt" McCoy was born in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was the starting quarterback for the TX Longhorns in 2006. During this season, he was named the College Football News Big 12 Player of the Year. He also threw his 27th touchdown on Nov. 4, 2006. He led the Longhorns to a 56-7 victory over North Texas, throwing three touchdown passes, rushing one yard for a touchdown, and throwing no interceptions! Now he plays for the Browns in the NFL. | Colt McCoy

5: The Dallas Cowboys was born in 1960. Today the team is the second most valuable sports team in North America and has an estimated value of over 1.1 billion dollars. Annually the team generates approximately $250 million in revenues, making them one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL. Over the 40 plus years of the Cowboy's existence, they have set phenomenal records and they hold the best playing record of all football teams. Several of the team's successes include a total of 27 winning seasons and the league record of 20 consecutive winning seasons. They've also won 5 of the 8 Super Bowl games appearances (1st team to win 3 w/in a 4 year period), earned 54 postseason games winning 32, they hold the most season with at least 10 wins, 14 NFC Championship game appearances (2 NFL championship games prior to NFL-AHL merger), they made the playoffs 26 times, and won 18 division championships.

6: Extreme Sports History | Extreme sport is a name given by the media to the activities, which involve danger. Most of them include speed, height, and thrilling stunts. Extreme SportS evolved from the increaSe of safe life. Some men thought the less risks in life were to slow for them. They liked the thrill of risk taking co they did something extreme.

7: History of Football | Derived from the English game of rugby, American football was started in 1879 with rules instituted by Walter Camp, player and coach at Yale University. He was born in April 17, 1859, in New Haven, Connecticut. He help make the rules of American football different from rugby and soccer.

8: The History of Golf | Golf waS invented in 1497.Golf as we know it today originated from a game played on the eastern coast of Scotland in the Kingdom of Fife during the 15th century. Players would hit a pebble around a natural course of sand dunes, rabbit runs and tracks using a stick or primitive club. Some hiStorianS think that Kolven from Holland and Chole from Belgium influenced the game.

9: The Houston Dynamo moved from San Jose in Dec. 2005 and played first season in Houston in 2006. Their home court iS the Robertson stadium. The Dynamos used to be named San Jose Earthquakes.

10: Ice Bats | The Austin Ice Bats were a professional minor-league ice hockey team based in Austin, Texas, United States. They played in Austin from 1996 to 2008. Affiliated with the Central Hockey League, the team was named in honor of the Mexican Free-tailed Bats (Tadarida brasiliensis) which nest under the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in the city. Their affiliates were the NHL's Minnesota Wild, the AHL's Houston Aeros, and the ECHL's Texas Wildcatters. The team's last head coach was former NHL player Brent Hughes. The team was established in 1996 and played home games in Luedecke Arena at the Travis County Exposition Center, a multi-purpose building which was furnished with skating ice and dubbed the "Bat Cave" for the games. The team was original affiliated with the Western Professional Hockey League. The Ice Bats joined several other WPHL teams in a merger with the CHL in 2001. In May 2008, the team announced it was leaving Austin due to lack of fan support at Chaparral Ice.[1] Anticipated competition with the announced AHL Texas Stars has also been cited as a factor. It is unknown where the team intends to relocate to, though apparently an unsuccessful attempt was made to relocate to Ford Arena in Beaumont, Texas for the 2008-9 season.

11: Joseph Halford | Halford was born in Dallas, TX 1991. He played for the Dallas Stars and is a right winger. His club team, Texas Attack, won the Youth Tier II 16 and Under Championships.

The earliest recorded history of kite sailing dates back to the early 12th Century. 14: Minute Maid Park | The year 2000 saw something the grand old game of baseball had not experienced since 1964 - a Major League team in Houston playing on natural grass outdoors. While clear skies and real grass were welcome additions for fans, Bayou City hardball faithful also enjoyed another first in Minute Maid Park's 242-foot high, retractable roof. Fans approved the new ballpark overwhelmingly, resulting in a record of more than 3,000,000 fans through the Minute Maid Park turnstiles in the 2000 season. The club has welcomed almost 6,000,000 visitors in the facility?s two seasons of play. A jewel in the crown of the majestic downtown Houston skyline, Minute Maid Park has become a welcome home for the Houston Astros and has ushered in a new era of Major League sports in the city. The downtown ballpark continues the proud tradition of visionary innovation in stadium construction, beginning with the club's previous home - the Astrodome. 15: New England Patriots vs. Carolina Panthers in Houston | Adam Vinatieri kicked a 41-yard field goal with four seconds remaining as the Patriots won their second Super Bowl in three seasons. While it took a Super-Bowl record 26 minutes and 55 seconds for the first points to be scored, the teams combined for 868 yards (481 by New England) and the game also featured the highest scoring quarter (combined 37 points in the fourth). The Panthers responded with an 8-play, 95-yard drive capped by Delhommes 39-yard perfectly placed touchdown pass to Steve Smith with 1:07 left in the half. Delhomme beat the blitz by lofting the pass deep down the left sideline. The final score was New England 32, Carolina 29

16: Houston Oilers | The Houston Oilers started in 1960 and ended in 1996. In 1960, Bud Adams, a founding member of the upstart American Football League hires Lou Rymkus to coach his team in Houston known as the Oilers. In 1966 the Oilers get the season off on the right foot beating the Denver Broncos 45-7 at Rice Stadium, in game in which the defense did not allow a single first down. In 1996, the Oilers moved to Tennessee. Their new name was the Tennessee Oilers in 1997-1998, but change to the Tennessee Titans in 1999 to present time.

17: Port Aransas Rod and Reel(PARR) | Formed in 1948 by a group of Early Texas Conservationists PARR exists to promote the conservation of game fish, and to stimulate and promote interest in game fishing with the lessening of the destruction of game fish and their environment. PARR is an annual contributor to research at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas, Texas and the International Game Fish Association.

18: Quick Draw | Unquestionably, Fast Draw is the world's fastest human sport. The average blink of the eye takes approximately 32/100ths of a second; record Fast Draw times exceed 20/100ths of a second. Blink in this sport and you'll miss the contest. The first championships for it was in 1955. Dee Woolem won the Championship each of its first four years.

19: History of Rugby | Rugby was invented by William Webb Ellis when he was playing Soccer. During the soccer game, he pick up the ball and ran with it. Most scholars think it's to good to be true, so sadly Ellis is just a legend. Most historians think the 1st football game that was like rugby was play at the Rugby School in Ellis's time.

20: Soccer's History | The first modern day soccer was played in Derby, England, around, 217 A.D., when Romans were in the country. | The history of soccer is unclear because of the varieties of ancient sports similar to soccer.

21: Toyota Center | The Toyota Center in Houston, TX has been there since 2003. It shows sports and entertainment to all people. It takes up six blocks and is the home of the NBA Houston Rockets and the AHL Houston Aeros. It's also the host nation’s top concerts and touring shows. Toyota Center also has other places in USA.

22: UIL (University Interscholastic League) was created by UT. Its purpose is to organize and guide extra curricular activities for schools. Since 1909, UIL has grown to be the largest inter-school organization of its kind all around the world.

23: Veloway | The Veloway is southwest Austin's first trail exclusively for bicycles and rollerblading. Located on more than 100 acres in the Slaughter Creek Metropolitan Park, the Veloway is a 3.1 mile paved asphalt loop 23 feet wide. Since there has been more road development, bikers usage of Veloway has been higher. Then Veloway decided to legally allow rollerbladers. Then Veloway got repaved in 2004. Now Veloway is used by more people.

24: Wes Bankston | Wes Bankston was born on 11/23/1983 Dallas, TX. He now plays baseball for the Cincinnati Reds. He used to be the starting quarterback for Plano East (TX) High School. He was a rookie for the Texas Rangers in 2008.

25: Xtreme Paintball Park | Xtreme Paintball is the closest paintball field to the Austin Capital. They allow anyone of the age 10 and over. They have six different at the park. Players can choose from the six areas. All people go there to play, even some veterans.

26: Keith Yandle | Keith Yandle born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 9, 1986. He played for the San Antonio Rampage from 2006-08, the got drafted to the Coyotes. He was a defender for the Rampage.

27: Zak Whitbread | Zak Benjamin Whitbread (born March 4, 1984) is an American association football player who plays for Norwich City F.C. as a defender (association football). Although born in Houston, Texas, United States, Whitbread has spent most of Zak Whitbread life in England and Singapore. Zak Whitbread has lived in Runcorn for the majority of Zak Whitbread life, except for the five years Zak Whitbread spent in Singapore when Zak Whitbread father, Barry Whitbread, was the coach of the Singapore national football team during the late 1990s. While in Singapore, Whitbread attended the United World College of South East Asia.
