5: B. Bob Bullock Museum- History This Museum is located in downtown Austin. It brings the past of the state of Texas come back to life. The main driving force behind this museum was lieutenant governor Bob bullock. 6: C. Colorado River- Water The Colorado River is the nations 18th longest river. it was controlled by the Comanche Indians from 18th century to the late 19th century. The Colorado River is an important source for water and electricity for cities. There are also eleven importent reservoirs along this river. It runs from the Gulf of Mexico and through the capital city of Austin. Wikipedia.com

7: D. Davis Moutains- Landform Davis Mountains State park is located in Jeff Davis county. The park has been open to the public since the late 1930's. The mountain was formed by volcanic activity in the Teritary geologic period. The Mescalero Apaches made seasonal camps here. These mountain were named after Jefferson Davis ,former U.S. President. Texas park and wildlife.com

8: E. Enchanted Rock-Landform For over 11,00 years humans have visited this particular spot north of Fredriscksburg, Texas. Enchanted rock was declared a national natural landmark in 1970. Tonkawa Indians believed that ghost fires flickered at the top of this popular start-gazing spot. This rock is a huge pink granite exfoliation dome. 9: F. Frio River- Water The Frio River is located in South-West Texas. It flows through Garner State Park. It is 75 miles west of San Antonio and is popular for fishing and camping. 10: G. Guadalupe River- Water The Guadalupe River is located along the boundries of the Comal and Kendal counties. It was open to the public in 1983. The park is comprised of 1983.7-acre segment of the Texas Hill Country. It is also known for its ruggedness and scenic beauty. This beautiful river is located in the SW Texas area. 11: H. Huston-Tillotson University - College The Tilloston University is located in the capitol of Texas, Austin. It was established in 1881 as an all mens school then later in 1900 Tillotson opened as a women's institute. Now students of all ages and genders aree welcomed. The school is private and is known for academics and athletics. Wikipedia.org

12: I. Padre Island National Seashore-Water For almost it's entire existence Padre island has remained an undeveloped wilderness. It acts as a barrier between the Gulf of Mexico and Texas. Four nations have claimed ownership of the beach at four different times. The Spanish priest Padre Nicolas Balli established the island and it was named after him. nps.gov

13: J.Jarvis Christian College-College Jarvis Christian College is located in Hawkins, Texas. It was started by Thomas Buchanan Frost in 1912. Jarvis is a historically black college affiliated with the Church of Christ. it is an independent four year college. their basketball team has appeared in the NAIA men's division basketball tournament three times. www.jarvis.edu

14: K.Kemah Boardwalk- Recreation Kemah,Texas and Kemah Bay is located between Houston and Galveston. The park is minutes away from NASA. They have amusement rides and attractions for all ages. 15: L.LeTourneu university-College Letourneu university was named after R.G LeToureua. It is an nondenominational Christian university. The school was founded in 1989. The founder was one of the worlds best inventors of equipment. The school has expanded greatly and now has six schools. It is in Longview,Texas. www.letu.edu

16: M. Mid western state University- College The Mid Western state university is located in Wichita Falls, Texas. It offers 26 majors designed to prepare students of professional positions. The teachers there are active scholars and experienced teachers. The students there gain knowledge and inquiry skills for their chosen field. This school has also gained the title number one Best value in public view recently. www.mwsu.edu

17: N. New London Texas - City New London Texas is located in East Texas in the Coastal Plains. On March 18, 1938 a massive explosion occurred in a school in New London killing 300 people, sadly mostly children. The explosion was caused by natural gasses. It was known as the worst catastrophe in a U.S school in U.S history. Today the are many monuments in memory of the who died from the explosion. Wikipedia.org- New London Texas

18: O. Orange grove, Texas- City Orange Grove is in South Texas located near the Coastal plains. Orange Grove is known for planting and fishing. The population is around 1,288. It is in Jim Wells County. Wikipedia.org- Orange Grove

19: P. Paris, Texas- City This town is 98 miles northwest of the Dallas-Fortworth area. The town was founded by George W. Wright who donated 50 ares of land in February of 1584. it is located on US highway 271 and 82. It is in the center of Lamar county. The Eiffel tower in this town stands at 65 ft tall. 20: Q. Queen Isabel Inn- History This Inn started as the Point Isabel Tarpon and fishing club. This hotel is also the birthplace and headquarters for the Rio Grande valley fishing rodeo. Several hurricanes in 1933 and in 1967 changed the hotels exterior appearance. This particular hotel is located in the South Padre area. It also started the tourist industry . queenisabelinn.com

21: R. Rain forest Pyramid- Landform The rain forest pyramid is ten stories high and is made from 100% glass. It is located in Galveston Texas in the Moody Gardens Tourist complex. 22: S. San Jacinto Battle ground- History The San Jacinto Battle ground hold a significant irresponsibility to uphold the proud Texas history. It is of state and national importance. In April 21,1836 the Battle of San Jacinto was fought. The site contains the Battle ground and the monument plus many other things.It is an important part of Texas history and a reminder of the sacrifices that were made to free the state of Texas for Mexico. www.tpwd.state.us

23: T. Tackett mountain- Landform Tackett mountain is located west of the Balcones escarpment.

24: U. Utopia, Texas- city Utopia, Texas is a beautiful untouched part of the Texas hill country. You can float in the Sabinal River, hike through the hills, and bike through our scenic country roads. It is a world class bird and wildlife viewing destination. The town is a small carefree perfect place. Rich with Texas history, Indian raids and Spanish explorer stories one might say that utopia , Texas is really the perfect place. www.utopiatexas.info

25: V. Pine Valley Race Park-land The Bailey family from Nacadoches built the Pine Valley race park. As a drag racing family they saw a knew for a quality race way in east Texas. The International Hot Rod Association sanctioned the track upon completion in 2003. It was awarded the Best track award in 2005. the track is 3,500 feet in length from the starting line. It is located in Lufkin, Texas. pinevalleyracing.com

26: W. Wonder Cove (San Marcos)-Landform Wonder Cave is a show cave located in the Balcones fault. The cave is reported to be the only commercially operated dry cave. This fissure was opened not because of erosion but because of and earthquake in the Balcones fault. The Fault itself is visible in the caves ceiling. 27: X. Xit Historical Museum-History The Xit museum is your typical cowboy-wester museum. The Xit ranch was once the largest ranch under fence in Texas. It is located in Dalhart, Texas. The have many photo's and newspaper dating back to the late 1800's. it mostly contain information and exhibits in the Xit ranch and ranching equipment.

28: Y. Yucca Theater- Recreation The Yucca Theater is Located in Midland Texas. It was built in 1927 and opened in 1929. The Yucca Theater closed in 1974 the opened again the the summer of 1981. Now the Yucca theater is a Historical part of Texas. Wikipedia.org- Yucca Theater

29: Z. Zilker park - Landform Zilker Park is located in the capitol city of Texas, Austin. You can enjoy biking walking and picnics at this spacious park. Every year there is the Kite Festival which is held on the day of the fastest wind. During the Winter and Christmas time you can enjoy the park which has been transformed into a bright wintry wonderland. This park is fun and beneficial to all ages and perfect for any occasion.
