BC: Ever wanted to learn about The City of Rome? Well if you read this book you will find information about the city. Like there social class.

4: 4 | Introduction | Imagine you are in a Roman city. You see slaves, governors, peasants, and the royal palace where the emperor lives. The City of Rome was strong and wealthy even the slaves and peasants ate wealthy sometimes.

5: 5 | They were proud people they had ‘’everything’’. The United States government has similarities to that of Ancient Rome. Read this book and you will find out more information then you can every imagine.

6: Kingdom | 6 | Rome did not just start building on the closest piece of land. They had to find good ground for the crops to grow. Also for there animals to eat the grass and hay.

7: 7 | 753 B.C is when they started building the city. 476 A.D is when they fell. The Roman city fell because of when Theodosius died in 395 AD, he left the Empire to his two sons. Honorius and Arcadius. There were not very good at running the city. Most of there work was done by their advisors. | Also the Germans and the Goths realized that the emperors were weak. So they thought it was a perfect time to attack. But before they could attack they had to get more troops for the war that was about to start. Constantine the third went to France to get more troops. But while he was busy doing that no one was watching the border. So during that everyone just did what they wanted to do. Then the Roman government sent out a general to stop Constantine the third. Constantine was killed.

8: Senates | There were only 300 seats in the Senate. When a seat opened, a new Senator was selected from the Consuls. At the very beginning the Assembly had very little power. but they could vote on suggested laws. If they voted on it, it would go to the Senate. Were they see if it was it was a good law.

9: The Senate was composed of leaders from the patricians, the noble and wealthy families of Ancient Rome. They were the law makers. They controlled the spending. The Senate was not elected they were chosen by the consul.

10: Social Class | Emperors, consuls, other magistrates, governors, wealthy aristocrats, equestrians, peasants, and slaves made up the social classes of Ancient Rome. The emperor was the ruler of the city he made sure everything was in progress. He also did not make the laws, he was very rich. The consuls were like a council in our time. There were two people that would get elected.

11: One each month would make a new law or help with the government. The governors were very important to the City of Rome. They help the emperor make things go smoothly. The peasants weren't very different from the slaves. But the peasants were like worthless to the people of Rome.
