2: Interphase consists of three stages: the first growth, the DNA sytnhesis, and the second growth. The cell will spend most of its time in this phase (about 56% of its life)

3: First Growth Phase Cell begins growing rapidly and becoming more deifined

4: DNA Synthesis DNA is copied forming two chromatids held together by a centromere

5: Second Growth Phase Nucleus prepares to be divided

6: Mitosis consists of four phases : prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase

7: Prophase: Chromosomes becomd visible and nuclear membrane dissolves

8: Metaphase: chromosome line up in center of cell

9: Anaphase: Chromosomes travel to opposite ends of the cell

10: Telophase: Nuclear envelop forms around the chromosomes at each end. Chromosomes uncoil.

11: Cytokinesis: Cytoplasm pinches off to form two new, identical daughter cells.
