2: The World from Space | In your lifetime you will see maps all the time. There are three main maps humans use today. They are the Mercator, Robinson, and Polar maps. You might actually find the Robinson projection more often.

3: Mercator - Living Earth projection | Robinson - Outline projection | Polar - Living Earth projection

4: Places and Regions | Places and regions show where humans have settled different religions around the world. It also shows the how places are split up based on their region (what kind of land is in the area).

5: Religions of the world | Regions of the U.S.

6: Physical Systems | The Earth is shaped in many ways. Wind can shape earth by cutting down mountains, or lava can create more land. Also rain can carry pieces of rock to the ocean. No matter what the system is they all come together to form our physical systems, or what land formations we see today.

7: Wind and rain have run along this mountain for many years and have cut this mountain down. You can tell from the ripples at the base. | Water has eroded this cliff to form the openings in the middle.

8: Human Systems | Humans have many ways on how they live their lives. They show this by the way the build and shape various buildings. They also trade different items and create wars with other countries they have interactions with. Everything humans do show what their everyday life

9: Items can be transported by train or boat | This structure shows how the Greeks lived everyday

10: Environment and Society | In the world we affect the Earth in way and the earth can do the same as well. So it is like an ongoing war with humans and the environment. Factories dump chemical waste into the water and it poisons the fish. The environment can cause earthquakes, and humans are affected with destroyed homes and need a place to live. Yet, forest fires can be caused by humans and the environment, lightning can strike trees, and gas leaks.

12: The Uses of Geography | Ways geography is used is to find an understanding of how successful/unsuccessful ancient civilizations were. With geography we can also find where earthquake faults are, to be more cautious in that area. We can also find why continents are in the ares they are now.
