4: Life As A Kid | Elementary school in China is like school in the US. They go to school six days a week and they have to walk or bike to school because there are no school buses. | All of the people in China have to learn at least 3,000 words. 5: The Dragon Dance is done in the New Year. The dragon brings good luck. The dragon is like a puppet.

6: Interesting Places or Things To Know | The Forbidden City took 14 years to build. It took 1,000 workers to build it. The Great Wall of China stretches for 3,923 miles. It would take you a week to drive from one end to the other! It was built to keep the enemies away.

7: Researched and Written by Elise | In China, there are 540 million bikes. For some people that is how they get around because the buses are too crowded. | Some of China's kites scare the enemies away.

8: Land and Animals | This is a Golden Monkey. Golden Monkeys live in tropical forests of China. | These are Red Pandas. They eat bamboo. They live in China. | Researched & Written by Ethan

9: This is China's biggest mountain. This mountain is called Mt. Everest. | This is the desert in China. This desert is in the middle of China.

10: Favorite Foods | This is a Chinese feast, but not just any Chinese feast, it's a traditional Chinese feast. I know because these girls are wearing their hats. | This yummy looking snack may look weird, but it is the most popular dessert in China. It is called Niamgao. It is sticky rice pudding. | Researched and Written by Finley

11: This may look gross, but it is a traditional meal. It is called Song Sai. It is sticky rice wrapped in reed leaves. | Chinese love to eat, what we think of as soup, but it's not soup. What it is called is Jai, it's reed leaves with other vegetables and sometimes meat.
