It was a lonely day in a lonely neighborhood, where a lonely house sat at the corner.
Inside the lonely house, there was a man, a woman, and a boy. The boy was sad and lonely. He had no one to play with.
His parents were worried. “Son.” said the man, “Why are you sad? What troubles you? You seem upset.”
The boy replied saying,” All of my friends at school have a pet.saying, Lucy has a lemur, Brian has a beaver and a bandicoot, Charles has a caiman, and even Martin has a monkey!
The woman then said, “I think we have time to visit the pet store!”
The happy family then hopped into a car and drove to the pet store. “ I will finally have a pet of my own!” thought the boy.
Once the boy saw all of the animals there, he was joyful. The man and the woman were glad to see the boy happy again.
Then, after looking at all of the wonderful animals, he did not know which one to pick.
There were aardvarks, baboons, chickens, dolphins, echidnas, ferrets, Gila monsters, hawks, iguanas, jaguars, kangaroos, lizards, mice, naked molrats, orangutans, pandas, quails, reindeer, sharks, turtles, umbrella birds, vultures, walruses, xenops, yaks and even zebras, but he did not want any of those.
He just wanted an animal he could walk with, talk with, | play with, feed, and even throw Frisbee with.
Feeling sad, the boy returned home in his gray car to his boring house.
I know, lets go for a walk!” said the woman.
As they were walking down the sidewalk in the city, they heard a whimpering sound coming from a brown box.
The boy lifted the lid and to his surprise, he saw a golden-furred puppy all cold and lonely without his mommy.
“Lets keep him!” said the boy. “He is so cute!” said the woman. “Alright,” said the dad. “We can keep him.”
The boy was happy once again and so was the dog. They had each other to play with for the rest of their lives.
The boy named the dog Goldie, and the boy loved him so.
He always took him to the vet when he needed to go, | and he always made sure that Goldie had enough to eat.
The boy’s friends were all jealous of the boy and his new dog.
Whenever they went all out to play with their pets, the boy had a pet to take this time, and him and Goldie always won the Olympic Pet Games.
So later, the boy started to grow, and the puppy grew with him. Even though Goldie grew, the boy still loved him so.
So the dog named Goldie was happy, and so was the boy.
He was just like his peers in every way, but Goldie was more special than all the rest.
The boy was happy, for his name was Daniel, and Daniel finally has a dog.
