4: PART 1: PLANT LIKE Unicellular Algae

5: TRANSPORT: Anaerobic oxygenic photosynthesis EXCRETION: Structures that resemble a primitive digestive system, with cytostome (mouth) and cytopyge (anus). Diffusion. RESPIRATION: Photosynthesis REGULATION: The nucleus is the regulatory control center. NUTRITION: Autotrophs, make their own food through photosynthesis REPRODUCTION: Alternation of generations. GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT: Divide by meiosis when they get too large and there is little room to move
