1: The Grasslands are a fascinating biome full of many diverse biotic organisms that wonder this amazing place.
2: Climate | Grassland are fields covered in grass and very few trees. They are usually found near rivers, streams, or lakes. Grasslands cover one fourth of the Earth's surface. Grasslands are found in the midwest of the U.S. and Canada. | The average temperature in the grassland during the summer is 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Winters are usually very cold. The average temperature is 28 degrees Fahrenheit. That's cold.
3: The usual rainfall is about 29 inches. There are grasslands on every continent on the world except Antarctica. | The soil is very fertile and farmers prefer to grow crops on the grassland. The soil is good because of all the decomposer's. | By Erica Scholle

7: The grasslands (prairies) are flat and wide, with very few trees and tons of grass. This means that lots of the animals are grazers. | Some of the animals include animals such as the badger, bison, prairie dog, mouse, antelope, pheasants, golden owl, gopher snake, grasshopper, and coyote.
