7: Life during the great depression was very difficult. As increasing joblessness rose to about 15 million it was very hard to take care of your family, because if you don't have a job then you don't have money and if you don't have money you can't buy food or the basics for living.

9: Everybody was affected someway or another. Some people were affected by not being able to get a job, or maybe you had money but with the prices of food so high you couldn't get what you really needed. Some people were affected more than others were.

One of the things he did was pass the Works Progress Administration (WPA) this was designed to help people find work. After this Roosevelt was elected for a second term Although it took a long time we finally got out of the depression. We as Americans need to remember what happened and learn from our mistake.
