BC: The End
FC: Fatima Nayani Period 4 | Socrates
1: I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing Socrates
2: Wow, it's like I'm seeing double! Well anyway, this is a statue that I inspired of myself from after my death, to commemorate my life. This is PROOF that I was great enough to have lived and to be remembered. | Hey look, it's me! My name is Socrates, and I was a great philosoper for my time. I had many students that looked up to me, and one of my very last memories is of teaching. I believe that everyone has a voice, and they should never be silenced.
4: Oh my beautiful government system! I was critical to the Athenian government, and I helped the advances that shaped the western world today. | Ewwww! How did Zeus get in here? I openly rejected the Greek gods then and I never will stop! I do not wish to have one of my last pieces of remembrance involve HIM! | Oh the horror! Athena is here too? The reason I openly rejected these gods and goddesses was because I did not believe that they were real, that they were true! Has anyone ever seen Zeus walking down in their forest? Nope. Has anyone ever SEEN one of these "gods" for their very eyes? THen how come people still believe, there is no reason to.
6: Here we are, something to cheer me up. Ethics, one of my greatest loves. I believe that everyone has the right to an opinion, which is common ethics to believe so. Also, I revolutionized ethics for the western world with my system of debate
8: Ah, one of my best students that grew up to write a scroll to create the perfect system of government. I'm proud of you Plato, truely proud. | Here I am with Plato again, myself teaching, him fueling his young mind. When he became older, he wrote "The Republic", where he proposed the perfect system for a functional government. I believe he came up with these ideas through my teachings, but I can not say for sure... | I was correct! My last memory was of me teaching! Well, this is me in line for death row, and I am making my last vital points before I had to drink my poison and die. Wait, but I'm creating a scrapbook right now... maybe it didn't work...*
9: * The poison did work, and Socrates did die | Joy oh joy, here we are, some classic Socratic Debate! I was the one that created the method behind this, I so cleverly named "Socratic Method of Debate and Discussion". If I hadn't made myself clear, I believe that everyone has a brilliant opinion, and that if everyone is listened to, their brilliance will shine. In this way, everyone can broaden their knowledge because everyone is listened to equally.
20: A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace.
