S: KeSeanna Cardoza History Project of Mrs. Adamas

BC: The End P.S. This is made up.

FC: This story is made up.

1: Happy and Sad times of my life.

2: The new invention that changed my life is the light bulb. I am very happy that the lights help me see. When we had candles, some of the spots were still dark in the house but not anymore. I am very happy that Thomas Edison made the electric lights yeah! Thank you very much Mommy, Daddy, and Thomas Edison.

4: I am very sad that alcohol is legal. When my dad use to come home, he was drunk and he was not very nice to his kids. Before, people use to drink illegally at speakeasies. Maybe that is where he got the alcohol? There were secret bootleggers that would smuggle alcohol to the people. Dad never went anywhere but he always got drunk. Wow, thats crazy!

7: Dad and Mom thought it was a good idea to move up north. Jobs down south was very hard to find. We faced a lot of discrimination and violence in Georgia. We moved to New York so everyone in the family could find a good job. It was fun at times.

9: Omg I just heard one of the best song writers in the world. She was great. I saw her at the Arena. I was so hype when I saw Bessie Smith. She is one of the best blues singers that I ever heard in my life. She is a pretty African American and a great singer.

10: Omg, It seems like the world is coming to an end. My father lost his job. I'm very hungry. I'm not the only child. I have a lot of brothers and sisters that have to eat also. My mother does not have a job. She stays at home and takes care of us. My sisters and brother are Kejo, Keasmine,Kerria, Keanna, and Keannastayejua. There is just too many of us to feed.
