BC: The pictures I used came from the following websites:
FC: Hypemedia 5420 Final Reflection Leah Griffin Allen
 So...exactly what is HYPERMEDIA???
It's funny...before this course I thought hypermedia was any type of audio, video, or picture. As the course progressed, I came to the realization that those types of "media" were only part of it.
Hypermedia LINKS media together and allows the viewers to CHOOSE the order in which the media is viewed or listened to.
 EXPLORING WEB 2.0 TOOLS
I loved the activity where we were able to find new Web 2.0 tools. Many times, as teachers, we don't take the time to explore what is out there. It was nice to view on the discussion board what others from our class found and their ideas as to how they will use the tools in their classrooms.
I understand why we needed to read Everything is Miscellaneous, but I didn't necessarily enjoy reading the book. I thought the three orders of organization were interesting, especially the third order. It's almost mindboggling to think about how things are organized and related on the Internet. Everything really IS Miscellaneous. I found Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms to be much more beneficial. The author did a great job explaining each topic in the book and gave great ideas of how to use them in our classrooms. Because our group read Everything is Miscellaneous first, we didn't spend as much time on Blogs, Wikis, Podcsts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for the Classroom. I wish we could have explored it a little more in depth as a group, but we just ran out of time. I will definitely continue to use it s a resource for my classroom.
Looking closely at copyright information was extremely interesting. I didn't realize how much I had been breaking the law! Learning about copyright is definitely going to keep me mindful of when it is alright to copy and upload information, pictures, songs, etc. from the Internet, magazines, books, or other sources.
I enjoy working in groups. My group worked well together and we were able to bounce many ideas off of each other. Because we stayed with the same group all semester we had a great rapport with each other, felt comfortable assigning tasks, and were able to work at a much faster pace.
